What Josh should probably do is make the site referral only, as in you need someone to vouch for your account so that there is a trail on bad actors who do dumb fedposting,

To emphasize, Cloudflare has been extremely good to me. I spend thousands per month for their services. My technical account manager is going to reach out to me to see why I rescinded my services after seven years on Monday, a US holiday, and I’m going to cite this very specific case where it’s seemingly OK to harbor a predatory troon campaign with intent to groom minors versus a gossip site which exists freely on the Internet.

Vote with your wallet if you can. If you use Cloudflare, their competition basically begs for your patronage. I am now savings a ton of money by finally moving over to their direct competition.

Which competitor did you switch to? I'm in a similar position -- we spend tens of thousands of dollars per month on CF's services and I'm certainly not interested in staying with them after this. It'll be a fair amount of heavy lifting to convince management to switch, but I'll make it happen. My job title has the word "senior" in it for a reason.
