As you said, the precedent has been set. Even if they unblock it eventually, you could hardly ever trust them again. Move .net and any other domains with them the fug outta dodge.
Honestly even having the servers hosted in the U.S./a Five Eyes nation is less than ideal at this point I'd say, but migrating those is probably another level of difficulty (though from a purely legal point of view, the U.S. probably is still better than most other locations for freedom of speech protections, as long as the private third parties one relies on don't totally cuck out as Cloudflare has).
