I’m really looking forward to the Child Support Court arc. There are surely tens of thousands of men much wealthier and smarter than Gunt who have tried and failed miserably to get one over on the Family Court system in that State. Add to that the fact that everyone involved is a blabbermouth so even though it’s Family Court so everything is supposed to be sealed we’re going to get all the details of how little Gunt actually makes, how bad off he is financially, and on and on and on. I mean, just think about it. I have no doubt that Faith made up, or at the very least, she exaggerated bad childhood memories with her family to emotionally manipulate Ralph. Unless there is actual evidence, I refuse to believe Faith would explicitly state that her father molested her.
It was likely along the lines of "my dad punished me once because I screwed up my homework and that made me mad!" Ralph in his coomer-brain took punishment to mean something sexual and went with it. We've all been disciplined by parents, and many times when we look back, we would think it's unjustified.
So Faith didn't intentionally lie about anything, it's just that either she exaggerated something, or Ralph projected his own devious coomer thoughts to it, or perhaps Faith exaggerated something and Ralph exaggerated it further.

What’s going to happen is the Court is going to appoint a Guardian Ad Litem for Xander. This person is basically Xander’s representative in Court proceedings as well as an investigator for the Court. They’ll interview Faith and the Vickers, as well as Gunt and Meigh, they’ll investigate their households, their finances, their backgrounds, their past histories, and on and on and on. They’re Xander’s representative, and they’re paid by the Court, so they have plenty of time and leeway to investigate fully. After that’s done, the Ad Litem reports back to the Court and makes their recommendation which the Judge usually accepts when ruling.

Ralph is going to get fucked in the ass with no lube or kiss afterwards by the CA Family Court. He’ll lie about it and try to spin the appearance of a W out of his L, of course, and if he and the Vickers weren’t total blabbermouths he could probably get away with it with his paypiggies as usual, but because all parties involved are surely going to blab about every little thing, there won’t be any lying it away like Ralph usually tries to do.

Where Ralph is REALLY going to fuck up, though, is lying about his finances with the Court. They’re not going to take his word for it. They’re going to want to see bank and credit card statements. They’re going to want to see tax returns and they won’t take “No” for an answer. I don’t want to powerlevel too much, and someone else already mentioned how pointless it is to put faith in the Courts, but I DO have some experience in this kind of thing, not in Cali and not personal but folks close to me, and I can tell you that the Court can and will drag it out as long as the Ad Litem wants to dig and the Guardian Ad Litem will dig as deep as they possibly can. People can go to the Lowtax divorce/custody case thread to see that the courts will in fact take their time and fuck over an asshole. Tldr is that Lowtax spent a year or so squandering hundreds of thousands of dollars after his maplenigger wife, who he refused to do the paperwork to make her legal, left him with their dogs and child while he was off fucking a BPD whore. It took a while, but in the end he got so assraped by the child support, alimony, and money she was owed from marital assets he squandered that he fucking killed himself. His patreon went from like $15k down to nothing during the court proceedings and he blew all the cash he had saved. There was no way he could pay.

He ate a bullet within 48 hours of the ruling coming down. I just don't count on the courts working every time.
