Fucking hell. That whore Faith, her cuck fiancé, her retarded parents and the pig she let Gunt her are all horrible human beings and to humanities big detriment they're the type of people who breed the most. You can tell with every single tweet Ralph is only clinging to his visitations with Xander because he wants to stay in Faiths life and also figuratively keep jabbing his thumb into Mr. Vickers eye with it.

At the same time Vickers could take a dozen steps to freeze interactions between Ralph and his family to the absolute bare minimum but he doesn't do it because he loves the attention and hopes to somehow become an E-celeb through this feud with Ralph. It's all so fucking horrible and literally every person in this situation except Xander and Faith's brothers all deserve something horrible to happen to them. Vickers could've rejected Ralphs child support offer and make him go to court to see Xander, which Ralph would undoubtedly have lost. Instead he let Ralph had his way so he'd have content to fill his gay podcast with. They're both stupid as they're both evil.

The biggest blame lays with Faith though. The whore spun so many lies while she was getting gunted by Ralph it created the whole situation. Vickers should've shut the door on her when she came crawling back. Just as May's father should stop trying to get May to come back. I'm starting to think all of this is the fault of weak fathers protecting their daughters from responsibilities and predatory hogs like Ralph sniffing about to take advantage.

On the upside, everyone involved in the circle of white trash is so disgusting I don't really care who wins, I hate all sides equally so I can laugh at whoever ends up losing.

Vickers is an attention whore but I don’t think that’s his reasoning here. Ralph will never be able to truthfully say Vickers pulled out all the stops to keep him out of Xander’s life. Of course he still lies about it and always will, but the court record doesn’t lie.

It is pretty stunning how desperate he still is to be in contact with Faith and have reasons to see her in person. True blub never dies!

I wonder if JF Gariepy believes that Faith has a massively potent uterus?

Does him walking it back on his own show constitute a retraction even though he knowingly made the statement to Vickers' audience as well as his own, then walked it back only to his own audience? I certainly can't say for sure, and it seems like the sort of thing where a judge will need to weigh in.
There's a couple of things that Vickers would have to show to win a defamation case. For one, he would need to demonstrate to the judge that a reasonable person would take what was said as a statement of fact, rather than trash talk or opinion. If the judge determines Vickers to be a public figure of some variety, additionally he'd have to convince the jury (by clear and convincing evidence) that Ralph acted with actual malice when making the statement.

#2 is the reason why defamation cases have a reputation of being extremely hard to win in US courts. In general, when the defendant is an individual, it's usually hard to prove actual malice without going to discovery and finding a something like a text that says "I know it's fake but fuck them" or something. Ralph's walkback that he didn't know for sure could be treated as evidence pointing towards serious doubts as to the accuracy of his statement, but unless Vickers finds some sort of communication where Ralph admits he shouldn't have said something false like that, which is not unlikely because Ralph is an idiot, it would be pretty hard to do IMO. If this did go to trial, Ralph could be compelled to testify as well and asked how he came to the conclusion, which might go very poorly for him.

I think if anything the fact that the two of them were talking at each other through their streams would actually help Ralph as it would be a point in Ralph's favor indicating that the statement should be treated as part of the trading of insults rather than something that should be taken as a literal statement of fact.

If both sides were represented by minimally competent attorneys I would say that Ralph was probably in a decent position, but the problem for Ralph is that his pro se filings have indicated a total lack of ability to make coherent legal arguments or cite case law (it turns out "I think there is case law on this but I'm not sure" is not a proper citation). In a civil suit where Ralph doesn't just have a short RO to refer back to I think he's totally fucked, even before you consider that he has very limited hours in the day where he's coherent enough to write his blog post legal filings and he's already got all the other legal sagas on the go. That's why I do hope this lawsuit is filed, it'll be hilarious.

Vickers made clear he isn’t stupid enough to waste money paying an attorney for a defamation case, but would only do it pro se. He said Ralph is way too broke to ever bother investing money into any civil litigation but doing it pro se is just another way to add more cuts to Ralph’s death by a thousand. Good chance Ralph is so ducking stupid and ignorant of the law that Vickers could win a defamation case against him even doing it pro se.

I suspect Vickers probably did a consult about the matter and was told that it'd be tough case. Going pro se as the plaintiff reduces the likelihood of having a massive bill at the end of it all.

It would be tempting to fuck with Ralph by doing this, ngl. The only downside is that it would include continued interaction with Ralph.

For anyone coming here from Josh's stream, my summary was derived entirely from Vickers' public statements on this long-ish stream from 4/19/23:

I merely cut out the filler in what he said to include only the most salient comments to make it more concise. I've had no contact with Matt Vickers and would never work directly with a party to any of these cases so there's no undisclosed info in there. The narrative that I have any engagement with Vickers is pretty much solely coming from one banned user. I don't (and won't) speak on behalf of anybody else in general.

I'm glad people found the summary helpful. I'll consider doing the same thing if I'm available during future court document streams.

The kid probably had gas.

The "you bet you'll see me" response was what cracked me up. Ralph trying to be intimidating will never not be funny to me, especially since he's doing it in front of a family court judge. The man is a living cartoon character.
My personal favorite bit is how Ralph thought it was a good idea to pull a Manson and try to stare down the judge with a Ralphathreat. I hope he tries that in person where the bailiff can just slam him to the floor and stomp on him a couple times before hauling him off to jail.

The term "Ralphathreat" had me laughing a lot harder than I'd like to admit. Adding Ralpha to any of the dumb shit he does always brightens up my day. Good times.

When I am in my kitchen making dinner and one's mind invariably turns to Ralph, I like to refer to him as the "RalphaGay".
