I don't know about the other guy, but it doesn't look like GeniusAnus has posted anything addressing it (EDIT: finally found Akiba's @, doesn't seem like he's said anything about it either). To be fair, I don't think they've done a stream in months.

From what was floating around it doesn't sound like he was making installment payments, he just didn't have enough money to make the whole thing and only sent the partial.

As far as anyone knows he has not given up custody. I continue to believe that they are going to push the courts to royally fuck him for non-payment and are getting away from the internet so as to give him less "but ya ahnuh they was a-lawgin me" opportunities. As soon as he stopped getting on time with those payments they got quiet. I've said before I think their lawyer told them to stfu to make it easier to go after him in court.
