I wanted to add some context. There are a lot of people out there with crackpot physics theories who will reach out to graduate and doctoral students in physics about their personal theories in physics and pay them money for a consultation to "help them write their paper/theory". This is a legit phenomenon and it's really funny. Often it's fairly intelligent people with huge egos. They understand just enough that they start to ruminate about physics and create their own theories about how things work and think they are so smart that they, and no one else, can solve these problems. But to everyone on the outside it's obvious that they just read a book by Kip Thorne and lack a ton of important information. But they're convinced they understand the universe. It's absolutely narcissistic. Max Karson isn't the only person to do this though, this is a genuine phenomenon that occurs surprisingly often. It's really funny, and given Max Karson's obsession with appearing as though he is an intellectual, it's not surprising he fell into this mental pattern.

He's launched a Twitter with a similar name.

He claimed at one point he had debunked a discovery by Albert Einstein himself, although I don't have a bachelors in psychology so I can't judge that as well as an expert such as Max Karson.

My understanding is that he's actually losing it on this one. I've heard through the grapevine that he's had an impossible time bringing any academics on his livestream for an interview regarding his theories because he chimps out on them in the email exchanges while planning the interview and he pisses them off. Surely, if this was for attention, he'd bring them on stream and chimp out on them there instead where everyone could see it.

Essentially the basis here is that the Black Hole Universe would explain accelerating expansion. The Universe isn't just expanding, its expanding faster and faster all the time and we can't explain why. We created the concept of dark energy to possibly explain how this is possible because we need to assume there is some energy driving the accleration of the expansion that we just can't detect yet.
Inside of a black hole you are experiencing the most intense acceleration possible, you are falling but falling faster and faster all the time towards the center. If you and I both fell into the black hole 1 inch apart from eachother facing eachother with one of us closer to the center than the other there could be a point in the black hole where we are all of a sudden a mile apart with one of us closer to the center of the black hole than the other, we are both still moving from the outside to the center but the acceleration is so intense that every little inch you get closer to the center the faster you are moving. The idea is you explain the acclerating expansion of the Universe using weird outward gravity that is perfectly modeled by bodies moving to the center of the black hole. This is all really cool to think about but there is no compelling reason to believe this is how the Universe works, you explain away dark energy but introduce a whole lot of weird reality phenomena you now also need to explain. Feasibly you could explain it because the Universe isn't really how we perceive it but I could see how an obnoxious midwit like Max Karson is getting himself into retarded arguments because he doesn't really understand the conversation and is going schizo over believing he has attained enlightenment because he learned a new interesting idea.

How old is he now? I am certain he was through the hereditary schizophrenia danger zone of the mid 20s. I wonder what has triggered this now as opposed to any time before. That is, assuming its real.
I get what you mean, it's internally consistent. Something a lot of actual schizophrenic science theories seem to be on a surface level. When you dig into the theories they usually fall apart quickly however. This makes me wonder where his theory of physics will from here.
In terms of if he got it from somewhere else: Some brief searching turned up Black Hole Cosmology as a fringe theory originally from the 70s about how the universe is actually inside a black hole. My best guess is that if nothing else he is building off of a layman's (or in this case retard's) understanding of this theory.

It's the kind of thing physicists come up with to try and provide a model for something we don't have a model of yet. Like string theory it is created by pushing aside perceived reality and getting as abstract as possible to try and arrive at a working model. These things have value in science as they do provide creative models that could lead to the real one being discovered but they are just that, creative models.
