I'm arguing against statements that imply that these accusations have to be fabricated, since the women in question did not directly go to the cops or come clean about the supposed abuse years later by showcasing that this is in no way uncommon, let alone unthinkable.

Completely insane idea:
If it is a coordinated effort, it could be a "Sins of the Fathers shall be visited upon the son" thing. I mean John Landis is responsible for three deaths through negligence and stupidity.

And Morrow's daughter, Jennifer Jason Leigh, hasn't been doing much in the past few years. She's had time to plan and launch. Who's to say this isn't a legendary revenge tale in the making?

I can’t help but not care about any of this until he’s either charged with an actual crime and goes through court or he admits he’s garbage.

The court of twitter is filled with dumpster fires and garbage people so all those people dragging him can fuck off until then. It means nothing and is completely worthless.

The Hollywood Reporter article claimed to have a police report from 2008, isn't that kind of a smoking gun?

A girl he raped went right to the police in 2008, long before #MeToo, HR couldn't lie about having a police report, could they? and if real then that's pretty fucking fishy, isn't it?

Certainly feminists will lie about rape and sexual assault to take down men they don't like, that's been the agenda behind #MeToo all along, but a stopped clock is right at least twice a day and that may be the case here.
