I checked the list of Chris's games and also Nintendo's website. I really have no idea how much money Chris has at his disposal. I think Chris would mostly prioritize buying new games but he might also try to rebuild his old collection by buying games that he played before going to jail.
Pokémon Scarlet and/or Violet would be solid choices, as would Pokémon Legends: Arceus and New Pokémon Snap. Chris has to buy almost anything with Sonic so he'd get Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Colors. He might be interested in the Kirby games, on the Switch these are Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Kirby's Dream Buffet, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
I figure Chris likes making his custom characters so Miitopia could be a good option.
Chris owned several Zelda games, but Breath of the Wild is notably absent from the list. So he might not be interested in Tears of the Kingdom, which comes out in less than two weeks.
Chris specifically mentioned in a jail letter that he missed playing Tetris 99 so I think he would get that. It's free. There is also a free Pokémon game called Pokémon UNITE. The problem with these is they probably require a Wi-fi connection, so he'd have to download them somewhere other than the group home. Chris would probably want to get a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online for its library of retro games, including Genesis games, but again, that'll require Internet.

You’ve got people who are 70 something hours deep into a documentary series that for the last five months has been little more than coverage of tweets about parallel cartoon worlds. Then you’ve got the weens who are still holding out to carve their way into Christory. Then theres people who are on some level hoping for a return to the ‘golden years’ when Chris’s retardation was still funny. True, but those are all places "normal Chris" got banned or arrested at for his own poor behavior. Multiple times. What would be really interesting, is if he could go to these places without making a scene or without putting effort into himself getting banned.
