Other autistic people are taught about theory of mind and how they don’t have it so they need to learn to believe it exists (or whatever; I’m not a tard doctor, I’ve just watched some documentaries). But there is no medication regimen perfect enough to fix autism or a neglectful upbringing during developmental years. Chris was taught to distrust institutions and the mental health providers that could have given him the tools he needed. His geriatric parents had antiquated views of autistic children - that those with autism are equally stupid and innocent, like forever-children. They never provided him the tools to handle the desires and disappointments of adulthood. Inadvertently, they let the internet provide that, and Chris is the living, breathing result.

That has always been the best option for dealing with Chris, Cutting any and all contact with him - Bob's Son and Daughter and the grand kids of Bob's want nothing to do with them and the only contact we know about is Chris seeing David once for a eye appointment and that might have been more of a happenstance than David wanting to see his younger half brother.

Chris has beyond worn out his welcome with family and friends with just what we know from his own mouth let alone other things that he's never thought to talk about publicly.

I know the School era Gal Pals wanted nothing to do with him and he actively tried to reach out to them and seek them out they either keep a low profiles or pre-emptively block him as he's never had any form of success.

That has always been the case, Chris can't get better it's just a matter of how bad he gets before he moves on. It's a managed decline that we are only now seeing the beginnings of and while the rides took a unexpected turn we are not at the end of the road yet.

I don't know if she's even fighting to keep him out, her mind is not quite there anymore so she might accept him in da house again because of how codependent they are. I remember when he punched and humped a pillow in front of her as if it represented her (afaik nobody proved it to be fake yet), also the time when the idea guys convinced Chris to punch Barb and he just did it, and then he also punches walls in the house out of anger.
The woman might be afraid of Chris being physically abusive against her again, if she refuses to let him inside the house (or inside her ). People didn't do anything about the violence back then and mostly laughed it off, so if he goes back to sexual and physical abuse, only family or neighbors would intervene.
That's kinda the reason I feel bad for her, she can't defend herself against his tard rage anymore and only people very close to her might care.

I didn't expect Chris to come back better because I've never thought he was actually delusional, just an autistic LARPing egomaniac, but I am suprised that whatever meds they did have him on haven't seemed to have any impact on him at all. Even if you're 100% mentally sound the stuff they would have had him on is very unpleasant with a ton of side effects, with almost universal reports of feeling like a zombie and a slowness in thinking and processing. But here Chris is babbling about the same stupid shit with the same tone like it never happened. I wonder what the staff thought after he'd been on meds for a month and he wasn't mellowing out at all.

Well, that's the thing. Mental health care is about stabilizing people so they can live a normal life, and it's always a long term affair. Shit takes years. Plus half treatment is on the client as well, because they want to be treated. There's no fixing to be done. People will still have problems, but now they can manage their problems.

In other words, meds and therapy can help Chris but he's gonna have to help himself too. Whether or not he decides to help himself is completely up to him. Press X to doubt.
