If the new jail letter is anything to go by. No. He's as crazy as ever. But now he's throwing barb under the bus accusing her of being the one who instigated the hanky-panky so he became worse by accusing the victim of being the real criminal.

Some relationships were not meant to last...perhaps Chris and Barb were just having a casual summer fling.

Now I guess Chris wants to soul-bond and leave...

So my guess is she said something suggestive and weird at some point, Chris didn't consider it meaningful, and he dragged it up out of his failing memory and then warped it to justify his current bullshit.

Chris absolutely tried to do his research and seemed to give it as much careful consideration as he could muster... Which meant reading a book not on how to fuck as a disabled person but how to fuck a disabled person/old as dirt person.

The entire interaction between Josh and Chris the days leading up to, and following the news leaking, is pretty clear that he knew what he was doing was wrong. But to Chris it was always a matter of whether or not he could try and lie good enough to get away with it. The only thing is he's so much of a tard that his lies and excuzes are akin to a 6 year old's.

He went in it knowing it was wrong, or at least he didn't care if it was. He dug this hole without a doubt. I know people here won't forget that.

I didn't expect Chris to come back better because I've never thought he was actually delusional, just an autistic LARPing egomaniac, but I am suprised that whatever meds they did have him on haven't seemed to have any impact on him at all. Even if you're 100% mentally sound the stuff they would have had him on is very unpleasant with a ton of side effects, with almost universal reports of feeling like a zombie and a slowness in thinking and processing. aside from the hilarious WW2 story, this letter is a somewhat big deal. Taking back what he said about fucking his mom, going more into her emotional abuse and manipulation on Chris is something he never really got too deep into.
Trying now to backtrack on his original statement of fucking his mom and going more into her mental and sexual manipulation wasn’t what I expected to see from this letter. Seems like his trip to the psych ward opened up a lot more memories (or lies he’s making up to be innocent who knows) while still keeping his shattered concept of reality still going on.

The issue is Chris won't use this knowledge to improve, but as buzzwords instead,
