Even Chris had (admittedly vanishingly rare) opportunities to outbreed, or at least perceived opportunities, a.k.a. Fiona. Even the hambeast (or similar) would have been preferable to Barb, at least to anyone but Chris, but that would have needed effort.

Fiona maybe, but Chris knew she could just as easily have been a troll, and she was literally on the other side of the country. After being catfished for the 10th time, would you be super enthused about trying for the 11th time?

With Hambeast, Chris DID try. He got rebuffed. More effort on his part would've just gotten us more milk like with any other non-troll girl Chris was trying for (like the Wallflower).

Chris did put in effort. He went on a fucking rescue mission for Julie despite Barb's suicide threats. Chris was lazy as fuck at bettering himself, and sure he's lazy in general, but on the other hand he put in way more effort in some ways than a normal person would.

Hambeast was actually a pretty normal effort for most people (go to a bar and meet a girl, try to ask her out on a date).

Like many things, Chris got his romantic cues from the movies. One Grand Gesture never works in real life, at least not for any length of time, but it almost always works in the movies where women will abandon their steady, stable men to fly off with the guy who does the Big Thing.

Unfortunately (for retard boy at least) just as he was unable to recognize insincerity, he was unable to recognize sincerity. That's the kind of thing they had therapy and coping strategies for then and his parents basically gimped him out of. It's pretty ironic that this maladaptation has a lot to do with why Chris never left Barb until the point he just decided to start raping her.

Rollin&Trollin to us looks like a window into how he would be if he had had the proper interventions early on in life, but I think R&T Chris is like Chris Chan’s version of Clark Kent. It’s his cosplay of what he thinks a normal human looks/acts like. In the end it was still just an elaborate game of pretend.

Not just in retrospect. Fucking Barb put Chris in jail, but it won me a few wagers. You will never lose money by underestimating Chris.

It's important to note that Rollin&Trollin was his one fursona that wasn't immediately sussed out as an act. That's not because it was particularly clever, but because, unlike Jenkins Jinkies and his other games of pretend, Rollin&Trollin is the Chris we wanted him to be. Rollin&Trollin is the Chris he needs to be, and the Chris we deserve.

This part really rustles my jimmies, worst case scenario Chris is lying and trying to put the blame on his mother (Despite claiming it wasn’t sex earlier) and if he’s telling the truth it’s really gross plus he’s blaming his mother for him having sex with her.

Well that's the issue with relying on Chris for info. It seems he is atleast slightly more clued in on what's going on. Perhaps thats just medications.

Whether it's a lie or not is a bit more complicated to estimate. On the one hand it seems heavily coincidental to just hear this now. Note the timeline he gives as well. At first him admitting to the onset of sexual flirtation with his mum a decade back might seem odd.

But BUT

If barb has been losing her faculties then; tilting the onset of the sexual relationship to a time where she was competent might serve to muddy the water . " she was grooming her tard son" " this was just how things were even before her decline"


To be fair he just said she said something suggestive a decade ago. That still does seemingly make sense in terms of their uncomfortably close relationship. It could also have been worded differently as well. Closer to his mother simply saying he was attractive when he was feeling down.


My guess tbh is this

1: Chris and barb have some degree of permanent separation now. Not just in terms of jail but in communication. He knows he doesn't likely leave jail to things as they were


2: I still think the court probably is going to want a deal with time served ;
of a year and a bit for an incest charge. I suspect though that prosecution has been leveling the full suite of charges at him. A somewhat more stable Chris chan looking at potentially seeing years in actual prison might be more willing to either lie; or spill the beans about his private life.

It's very likely neither the prosecutor nor defense want to deal with the legal can of worms any ruling will create. Unusual cases with rare situations involving serious charges can set precedence for future cases. They're probably trying to cooperate and deal with this in the least damaging way possible.
