That's my original intent tho.
Oh my bad. I misunderstood no-pvp at spawn. I ignored the 'at spawn' part and assumed it was no-pvp world wide.

I probably won't join at all then. I don't want to build a bunch of shit and then have some fag destroy it all because they think it's funny. If that's what you want, then name the server Seattle or CHAZ/CHOP.

edit - also, if that's what you want, then why bother with anti-cheat. It's just going to be a shit show anyway.

Just do a normal server as far as auth goes. If people's username history leads to personal shit (mine does) they can just buy a new copy (I will) to play. You should also use whitelisting (oh, I'm sorry, the PC term is allowlist) to keep out people you think will be fags in game. You won't be able to keep it wide open to the public and not have faggots joining to ruin the fun.
then the server's going to be dead because only retards are willing to pay money to play a video game

name the server Seattle or CHAZ/CHOP.
now that's a good idea, revive the Anarcho-Autism Zone as a minecraft server

Totally done with SS13. Too pozzed. Tired of seeing tranny shit everywhere when playing. Tired of dealing with retards like Orange.

Someone's saying there are some ways to deal with the hacks so I'll see. Already seems like way more trouble than it's worth just to have some fun.

I run a small server, here's some plugins i've found helpful

Use the plugin Coreprotect to log all blocks places and destroyed so you can easily roll back greifing.

Never had problems with cheaters myself, but if you want extra protection, take a look at a list of cheat plugins for the most recent version of minecraft here. https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/anti-cheat-list-bukkit-and-spigot-1-16-x/

Usually you can just add these to the server and they will work right out of the box

Land claiming is gay at that point play single player or creative. You'd also have fuck wits who deliberately claim land close to people to stop builds. Whats the point of playing multiplayer survival is there is no threat from other players? Just play single player at that point.

https://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins - is a good repository for popular (and not so) mods.

There used to be a server (https://web.archive.org/web/20130607113553/http://liga.org/), and the way you played it is by downloading a cracked client from the site with all the plugins already installed. Granted if was ~7 years ago, and I don't know how Minecraft evolved since then... Anyway, that server had a stable player base and a good selection of mods, which are :

It was free to play, and the only thing you could buy was cosmetics.
So essentially what I want is a server in which I can invest time in, without fear that while I sleep anyone can just destroy whatever I made. Private property is a must.

I vote full anarchy because I want to bring back the old school feeling of when copyrighted songs were allowed on youtube and nobody protected shit on minecraft servers.

Here's a little secret. Anarchy Servers are actually pretty chill ...until they aren't.

These are famous last words but outside of a few users I don't think anyone here is gonna start major shit and tbh even if it does happen we're all mature enough to remember that it's a fucking computer game.
Also, pretty sure everyone here knows how terrible minecraft's combat system is. If you've ever seen the usual meta for anarchy servers nobody wants to get involved in that mindless shit where everyone turns on their fightbots spamming end crystals and making lag machines so it takes 2 minutes to eat food.

Of course there'll be pranks and assorted happenings but with the local playerbase I don't forsee the massive autism glitch wars you see on places like 2b2t.

Ok how do I pirate this shit. Its something I've been meaning to check out for years but never have because the turbospergs around the game kind of turned me off of it. There's single player, right? Should I download it and get acclimated, or would it be more fun to wait and join in the turbokiwiautismblockzone as a complete noob with no idea whats going on?

How large do you want the world to be?
The average seems to be 50k x 50k

-Dont build close to spawn
-Dont give your coords away
That's all you need to know to not have spergs griefing your shit, specially if Null adds basic anti-cheat that blocks speed hacks.

edit:
I checked some of the most popular hacked clients sites and they dont seem to have 1.16 compatibility yet, so you shouldn't have many hackers shitting up the place.

1. There is no expectation of privacy with your Mojang account.
2. You will have to deal with hackers if you use a pirate server.
3. Everybody who plays the game 'seriously' hacks, even on non-cracked servers, so get used to it, or go full autistic gmod server and have mods on 24/7 investigating reports of hacking constantly.
4. People who play vanilla without hacks will be at an inherit disadvantage always and will not enjoy the game.
I dont see the problem with hacking as long as its just unlimited shit and stuff. the game itself is very boring and most people just want to build shit.

It would be cool to get this mod for realistic world generation

It's an indie game from 2009. Looking at the wiki is pretty much mandatory.

As for piracy, my first thought is to check your local pirate site but from looking at the files while I was making a resource pack to remove the new tranny music my gut instinct tells me there's probably a way to fuck with the initialization parameters so you can join nulled servers without downloading anything dodgy. No custom skin support tho.

I'm totally up for a server as long as it's not impossible to get out of spawn. Are you gonna need any help setting that up btw?

>A copy of Ted Kazynski's Book
I see he has taken the Ted Pill while on vacation

For world generation use "generate large biomes" in the options. Large mountains are fun
