McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

Depends on the part of the US.
Southeastern US and Texas. Additionally, I was in Philly they were also mean for no reason.
That's the thing about fast food, it really depends on who the employees are and who the manager is, and also the franchise.

Most of the McDonald's in town used to be locally owned and at some point got sold to an investment firm out of Pennsylvania (PA being halfway across the country). The only one that wasn't owned by them also was the only one that had a working milkshake machine. Curious.
This makes sense. When I was in a more wealthy town, they weren't as rude and got my order right. In Mississippi they did not give a single shit. I don't know why they take it out on people who are just trying to buy food. In Asia you usually get pretty polite service.

A podcast I like, “Your Stupid Opinions” (they read online reviews and it’s pretty hilarious) recently read reviews for hamburger places. They got to talking about a McDicks near one of the hosts homes. He said the retards working there have (more than once, IIRC) put the top of the burger on upside down!

What really hit me during my last visit, the first in years, was how eating at a McDonald's restaurant isn't even cheap anymore. What's the fucking point if I can get better ice cream and everything else cheaper elsewhere?
Apparently in my place, there has been a "debate" regarding which is cheaper, a variety store or McDonalds. People obviously pointed out the former but there are a few who at least believe McDonalds is cheaper.

I heard McDonalds changed their burger recipe or something. They're supposed to be jucier and better tasting?

I went and got a basic burger. It seemed like how I always remembered them.

Also a two cheeseburger meal was damn near 10 dollars, which was why I ordered just a single cheeseburger which was about $1.50 I think. WTF is up with that?

I found out from watching McDonald's POV videos on YouTube that the standard/cool way to make a McDonalds burger is to not put it together at all, but to put all the ingredients in a box and then close the box.

You're watching them make it, and you think, "Ok, now just put the top on the top," but they never do that. They just close the box haphazardly.

If you've ever gotten a quarter pounder and the cheese is nowhere close to being on the center of the meat, this is probably why. Probably explains upside down buns too.

Their pricing has always been seriously dumb. There's always been something to get for a couple bucks though.
Oh, I know. It's why I tend to just order a burger and drink and skip the fries. But I don't recall the two burger meal being that ridiculously overpriced. It was only like 20 cents off from a Big Mac meal and I swear it used to be at least a dollar or so less.

Machines can't replace burger flipping retards fast enough

Walked into my local McDonalds today for the first time in awhile. Saw the price of a McDouble and walked right the fuck back out. Probably never setting foot there again. If I'm gonna have to pay fucking 3.50 for a cheeseburger I'll go home and cook it my goddamn self.
I know a couple pizza places where you can get a couple slices for just about double in a meal.

McDonalds is way better in Japan and Thailand. I tried McDonalds in Japan many times. The Teriyaki Chicken Burger and Shrimp Burger are my favorites. We often have grape Fanta with it too. I haven't had McDonalds in awhile but even McDonalds in Canada is better than McDonalds in America. I usually don't have McDonalds unless someone offers me it.

They also need to bring back Mac Tonight.
