McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

I passed by a couple of McD's in my area and I noticed that they're introducing those bagel sandwiches everyone's been harping about. I'm more of a breakfast biscuit/McGriddle kind of guy but I haven't woken up early enough to actually get either.
There's actually a former McDonald's chef on YouTube that makes tiktok videos explaining how to achieve the same flavor at home. I'll try to find it today.

I always get recommended articles about him on MSN. Apparently a lot of the stuff is sold at Wal-Mart.
What's funny is that McDonald's used to sell their sauces (I know their Big Mac and McChicken sauces were available) in bottled form but they were exclusive to Canada and AFAIK have been discontinued.

No. They started closing nightly during Covid and the owner has desperately been trying to make it 24 hours again lately. I think they just pulled an old 24 hour sign they had in storage or something.
Where was this location at then?

I had seen something about it the other day. It sounds like their next attempt to draw people to the stores like the other odd crossover/themed stuff they've done previously with the rapper food etc. Will be curious to see if they draw an anime fan crowd and then if it leads to any craziness like with the sauce stuff from when it was mentioned in Rick and Morty.

Link to PR about it is below.

Seems so typical until you realize Japan practically spoofed such fast food establishments decades before.

Wcdonalds is like the default "LEGALLY DISTINCT NOT MCDONALDS" in media in general which makes it weird to me that it's solely anime instances they're focusing on, probably because it's a PR thing like people theorize to make it legally illegal to continueusing Wcdonalds without Mcdonalds' permission.

Probably. We'll just have to be more creative in how low we can go!

The japanese anime mcdonalds ad got really popular on twitter and the internet at large, they probably want to capitalize on that with the wcdonalds scheme for americans. Not a bad marketing choice, to be fair.

I suppose. Just had to swap a 40+ year old IP for an original assortment of characters they could 'own'.
