McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

The Big Tasty is McDonald's best burger but they keep replacing it with temporary gimmick burgers that are shit. I fucking love the smokey mayo on the Big Tasty. Never tasted anything else like it.
The chicken legend with spicy Mayo is pretty good too

Went to Maccies yesterday, they fucked up the McCrispy man. Their quality as of late is wild but the Chicken Big Mac is ok. Its superior to the beef one Maccies beef sucks now.

It seems like I get one of those every fourth or fifth time they come back and then remember why I skipped it the last few times.

I think it's fine, if you only eat it once every year or two when it comes out. It's not amazing, but it's not bad either and as a special limited time thing I don't have a problem since it helps break from the monotony. Besides, one of my favorite lolcows endorses the McRib so how could I say no?

McDonald's is usually my go-to "I'm too lazy or injured to cook" Doordash order but honestly it's their caramel frappe that keeps me coming back. It's not my favorite fast food place but it is a quick source of relatively cheap coffee. Without that as a factor I tend to prefer other chains.

I had a McRib last week and it was shit. Patty was weirdly mushy, sauce wasn't particularly pleasant, somehow they made raw onions flavourless.

Every time Maccies do one of these specials I for some reason buy one, and every time it is a bitter disappointment.

In the spirit of The Donald working at Maccies, I'm hoping next general election here we get Nige behind the bar in Spoons

Anyone remember those boxes of the spicy popcorn chicken from a decade or so ago? Forget the McRib, I'd kill a man to get those back as a yearly thing.

The only chicken thing from McDick's I've ever thought was really good was the plain dollar menu (when it was a dollar) chicken sandwich. The grilled "deluxe" version is rubbery and the other "deluxe" versions are massively overpriced for having a few pennies of extra bullshit on them.

Also there's just been a massive outbreak of E. coli apparently connected to the Quarter Pounder specifically.

Whenever I had one after the initial run they always managed to put too much onion on it, and I really like onion, so fuck damn.
Overall, it's a pale imitation of a more whopper styled sandwich.

I have without fail fucking despised their "deluxe" as it is always somehow the second worst chicken sandwich you can humanly get at Mackers. Without fail they're gristly, dry, and miserable to chew and I genuinely find them a scam given the shitty McChicken is at least perfectly edible if microwavable sandwich from gas station quality. Only Burger King chicken sandwiches are more heinous than they are.

My go to when the dollar menu thing was either a McChicken or Double Cheeseburger with small fries and a small drink. A reasonable meal that wasn't some nasty ass fatso meal Bob Chimpman might eat and cost less than $3.

McDonalds have a meal deal special in the UK at the moment, cheeseburger, 4 nuggets, medium fries, and drink for £5. Seemed good enough value to get me back in there for the first time in years, and despite the burger being wafer thin it was a good amount of food for that price.

Chicken Selects (i.e. actual chicken tenders, not whatever McNuggets are) were really good but they've been off the menu for years.
