Plus Wendigoon is a better host and the only reason why I can occasionally watch a creep cast episode. Honestly papameat annoys me more at being meh to just plain bad as a host. Sure he's probably a great friend yada yada but I can't stand him struggling through presenting a story or making a unfunny joke.

It's kinda hard to be against the enshittification of media without automatically being either a real centrist or on the right by some degree. The fun part is that the Flashgitz guys actually make fun of the right with the per capita joke and Hatemonger being Hatemonger (plus everything else). They know how to do it funnily though, and not say that you're wrong and literally evil for having your opinions for either side, just laugh at it and enjoy. Left-leaning content creators (like meaty boy here apparently wants to become) however can't help it. Their content isn't meant to be enjoyed across political bounds despite claiming they're not political, even though he's already been a victim of the leftist crowd (like our blessed boi Will Stancil).

You can have a completely moderate position that is "immigration enforcement is important and legally required, but in these specific scenarios there were training/policing failures" instead of freaking out and slipping closer to becoming a lolcow.

Ironically I double checked to see if he put out anything regarding BLM and apparently he wasn't with it (which makes him an incel nazi chud automatically) it and was part of the per capita crowd enough for reddit to freak out. This was only 2 years ago. Did he get sucked into watching Hasan or something recently? A girlfriend in control freak out ala Anisa's Husband?
 
I’m willing to argue that MeatCanyon is going down the MoistCritikal route where he’ll say the most inoffensive statement regarding his left-leaning politics since he doesn’t want to upset or drive away from his audience that might be a political or moderate by nature.

What’s just annoying about it was that those same people defended him when he was unfairly getting death threats from Taylor Swift’s fanbase for making fun of them of them by calling them a cult who engages in celebrity worship.

The ironic thing about is that this is the same man who used to enjoy the company of JonTron, and he was getting heat for being “political” when in reality it was all Destiny’s fault for baiting him to say something that benefits him and his audience.

Yet, JonTron is having the time of his life now.
 
I would occasionally watch this guy in the background because he occasionally made me laugh. But my tolerance for stupidity has hit an all-time low.

I am so sick of people just wanting immigrants to run freely around our country and hurt people and take our jobs and resources and make zero effort to assimilate. Nobody complained when Obama deported far more people but OH NOES it's bad when Trump is in office! Fuck off. I am at the point where I just want them all gone. If you don't like it, then go somewhere else where mass immigration is more tolerated.

Meat canyons body horror/content in general always was safe-edgy and you could tell, it never went over the top or "climaxed", finding his content a few years ago I always thought that he was trying to be like Zach or OneyNG but could never dare to quite go for "it", kony2012 and Zachs' finebros videos come to mind, in contrast, meatcanyon is just 15 minutes of buildup to nothing.
So i'm not surprised that he went "mask off" now and it turns out hes a libshit.

Kony 2012 was Zach making fun of white people pretending to care about some nigger warlord and everyone was making fun of those people, and the fine bros video was also an extremely safe "dunk" on the reaction faggots. I could definitely see Meat making those cartoon. And Chris' cartoons are/were all about vidya except Leo & Satan, which L & S also seems like something Meat would do.
I know Zach and Chris like joking about fucking kids and they said nigger a few a times back on sleepycabin, but they aren't these heckin based chuds so many of you guys seem to think or imply. They're just funnier and more creative, usually.

That said, Meat feels like he's definitely trying to be "new grounds" in general and it's absolutely a surface level thing. Makes Goon joking about replacing him with the Oneyplays crew really funny.

You misunderstand, by safe-edgy I don't mean he doesnt say nigger, I mean his style of animation never goes over the top. I used kony2012 and finebros as examples because both of them crescendo into something (for example finebros video has them sucking each other off and puking money), while meat canyons videos peter out and kinda fall flat by the end (like the coomer video), this is especially underlined by the fact that his videos are like 15 minutes, and for 15 minutes you're waiting for a payoff and end up with an anti-climactic resolution.
This is safe-edgy because Canyons videos don't explode into the truly edgy, hard-cut endings that Chris and Zach would have. (For chris one example that comes to mind is his machinima response video).

All-in-all, MeatCanyon is a fake and gay recreation of the NG era.

Drawing creepy looking, grotesque caricatures of someone and giving them a deep voice or whatever isn't edgy or funny. It comes from having said character do over the top retarded things. Newgrounds flash animations were all about that.
 
i remember i was dating a girl at the time, one of her favorite things to watch was Meat Canyon/Creepcast. i didnt care for his second channel as i liked his animations but i remember one time, she shared me a video of meat doing a sephora review, and my response was "faggot" but my ex kept trying to reassure me that "no babe, he's not a faggot. he's just doing it because it's ironic" but i was firm on my belief that this nigga was gay

after seeing his comments about ICE, i feel vindicated

Very much so, if not skirting neutrality for the sake of a bit. Tom is much more loud and direct with his opinions, but Don has a habit of sneaking his in with much more clever ways. Tom by himself gets to be a bit much, and Don acts as a good foil to work bits and bounce jokes off without the loud factor.

Their editor is also pretty based. It's a stark contrast to Hunter. The most glaring example I can think of was Hunter being mildly shocked on his bug chasing video that it was primarily an HIV thing in the gay community while his editor is dropping notes every few minutes to basically say "erm, actually chuds, not all bug chasers are gay". Whereas you have something like Tom and Don's most offensive Halloween outfit video where the editor makes a joke about a Nazi costume and an Anne Frank one making for a good couples pairing. He's constantly dropping little notes ripping degenerate shit when it's covered and it's a nice change from tranny worship.
