This looks fungal or bacterial. Have you seen a dermatologist? Do so, get them to take a skin scrape for you. You should always get rashes here (facial, around nose and cheeks) checked, 99.9% of the time it’s something colonising your skin and 0.1% is something genetic. Ten years is too long to be battling something, go see a derm. In the meantime make sure you’re washing pillowcases on hot (iron then too with steam which kills everything.) and change pillow cases every couple of days.

I've never been to a dermatologist, just my GP. Is it likely that whatever it is has grown resistant to the micreme over the years? I wash my bedding once a week. Thanks for the advice, it's more that the doctor has ever done to advise me.

I remember you posting frequently in the How are doing? thread. In your case, the pain is almost certainly psychogenic and won't go away until your mental state improves. Anxiety, hopelessness and despair are the cause of your issues, and as long as such emotional states are present, so will be the pain.
Yeah that thread, I've been there before.

Psychogenic? You are telling me a happy person wouldn't notice the pain? Or that the pain is just a phantom of my mind? If that is the case then I am most certainly going to need a lot of anti inflammatories and rum to get through the days.

I'm saying the pain is caused by nervous tension. You muscles hurt because you are constantly anxious. Drugs and alcohol are not the answer here, improving your mental state is. You could look into autogenic therapy, all six books by Luthe can be found on annas-archive.

Maybe drugs and alcohol as a pain suppressant has it's downsides, I had to get up to pee multiple times during the night. My right hand is absolutely fucked, I find it hard to type after a short period of time, and I'm trying to get used to using the mouse with my left hand.

I have some sort of red mass growing inside my belly button. It looks like a very thin piece of meat, its floppy and it bleeds.

That sounds horrifying, you have never had a piercing there? It bleeding when you touch it is disconcerting : S

We live in a very anxiety inducing world that is for sure. This looks like some kind of spiritual monk training, does this really help you relax? Some people are lucky and are born without a care in the world, I'd like to not be phased by anything as well, but I'm always acutely aware of a corruption eating away at me and the world around me, threatening to swallow everything in darkness.

A better environment would make things so much better. The modern urban areas are bad for our health. The heart of the neo-west is toxic the closer you get to it.

Went to see a doc, said they think its growing from something inside me outwards, gonna need surgery but appointments are years and years away. I never thought id die to a belly button monster coming out of me. Its a helluva thing.

It is surely not a good way to go, it's like a mini chest burster. If they are years away then if you survive that long you at least you will know it wasn't life threatening?

Surely the doctors would show more concern about this and want you to get it fixed ASAP?

I've got really bad muscle pains in my neck and back. It's been progressively getting worse for a while. At work I change between sitting and standing often but it's not really helping. At the moment I'm having to take far more pain killers than I'd like and it's not doing much.

What is the best thing to do about this?
The back and neck pain could be a few things, but my money is on what is called forward head posture.
Craning your head forward to be close to your screen will do this. It's the little brother of kyphosis (tranny hump).
Looking down at your phone will do this too.
Sitting vs standing don't matter as much as your posture.
Narcotics to mask the pain is a bad idea. You're in pain for a reason and you're putting blinders on if it's kinesiological.

This is a weird one, for a decade now i've had this red rash that breaks out on my face and I have to take micreme h to stop it. At first it would go away for a long time, now if I don't put cream on my face for two days it hits me hard. It's hard to get a photo where it shows how red it is, and my skin is greasy from the cream here, but this is what it's like -

Does anyone know what this is and if there is a better solution to dealing with it?
How much do you drink?

It will be most certainly caused by 15 years of working on computers all day, and never being comfortable either standing or sitting. I hope I don't have a tranny hump developing. It's probably too late but really I need to quit my job and get away from constant computer usage. My hands are stiff and sore from mice and keyboards also. We weren't designed to use things like computers for so long.

I have to take pain killers to be able to sleep and operate at work unfortunately. If it is somehow phantom pain then it's definitely very realistic.

I drink every day and I have done for years. I've never been drunk but I have beer, wine and spirits of all sorts. Is it a rash that feeds on beer yeast?

That'll do it.
Forward head posture can fuck with the nerve bundles running to your hands and shoulders.
Coincidentally, alcohol fucks with your entire spinal column by swinging your CSF pressure wildly. Pair that with the leeching effect alcohol has on electrolytes and pain from cramping and/or nerve impingement are likely and they both suck.
Add all that shit to bad posture and you're triple fucked.

I didn't mean phantom pain.
Narcotics aren't fixing anything. They're subduing the pain while you are likely making the problem worse.
Not an answer to a question you asked, but I'd get off that shit as a long-term fix.

Some schools of thought in dermatology say alcohol fucks good skin biome and paves the way for candida (yeast) to do bad shit.

That is some good info, thank you.

It is strange though that the rash only sticks to my face and hasn't spread beyond that as of now.

Computer chairs often don't have great back support either, and having your arms on the desk all day is a strange position to be in. To exacerbate things I often fall asleep on the couch.

Cerebral fluids? I'm not familiar with what that means, the fluids are pressurized?

I know pain killers aren't going to fix the issue, but it does help me when I am in pain and I need to sleep. At this point how would I even fix things?

Yeah. The candida thing could be wrong. The other guy is right- go get scraped for a culture.

Agreed, but no chair is gonna fix your head positioning and posture.
If that's your problem, you need to put conscious effort into not doing that.
I'd get diagnosed then go to a physical therapist for a month, learn the exercises, and then do them at home.
Don't fuck with chiropractic shit. It's make believe.

Yes and yes.
It's bubble wrap for your spinal cord and brain + a nutrient pumping mechanism.
Low pressure and high pressure are bad and you will feel bad and can fuck you up.
I don't remember where, but I remember reading something to the effect of "high pressure = swelling local to spinal cord = radiating pain"

Most belly button lumps are Epidermoid cysts, unless you had a related piercing or are a newborn. If you're saying that it's actively growing outwards, then it's probably instead an umbilical hernia and would require surgical intervention before strangulation happens to that pinched area of bowel.
If I'm understanding, they want you to wait years for surgery? They must know something I don't.

Thanks for the info that is very helpful.

I don't know why my GP has never wanted to scrape the rash before after all these years.

I'll probably have to be more proactive and do something like that soon it's really making life a lot more difficult than it needs to be. Sit down, get sore, stand up, get sore, lay down, get sore, there is no way to get comfort. And my hand is so bad I'm trying to use the mouse in my left hand but it's not really working out.

Probably because he's a Pakistani paid for by socialized medicine instead of being for-profit like a real doctor

Not that they want me to wait but I will be forced to wait or fork over thousands upon thousands of dollars I dont have. I live in Canada, people frequently die on urgent surgery wait lists and so I dont expect to have anything done for at least a decade if im alive that long.

I wish I had better news or a more pleasant guess. If it's growing it's likely a hernia, so avoid contact sports, straining those muscle groups, and consider using compression to help hold against the little balloon knot. If it was just a Epidermoid cyst, it would be full of keratin(gross smelling and cheesy substance) but I can't recommend you lance it to test with the information available. Too risky incase it's bowel. Ggs Canada I guess

Does anyone happen to know what, exactly, are the symptoms of diabetes? I've been looking around, haven't found anything consistent. Took a blood glucose home test a while back, it said 106, but those tests aren't always conclusive, and I haven't gotten to a doctor yet - any illness I've been having seems to be more related to stomach issues if anything.

Anyone know what the actual symptoms of diabetes are? Google's not the most reliable.

sorry saars me again i'm a retard i once again am asking for your advice.

I seem to have a virus, maybe the flu, I woke up at 2am this morning with a very swollen throat or tonsils (not sure which) and I took anti inflamatories that did seem to help and I could swallow better. I'm worried I'm going to have the same thing happen when I go to bed tonight and I worry a lot about not being able to breath if there is too much swelling and dying alone at night.

Is there anything common that would be good to take to help with this?

I'm probably having to go to work tomorrow so i need all the help i can get.

thank you.
