Recently, I felt a sharp pain in the right side of my chest randomly while laying down. Should I be worried?

For the past 3 weeks I've been having this inconsistent stinging pain around my abdomen. The pain can occur at random places in the abdomen throughout the day, never in the center though. I can go days without any discomfort, my urine and bowl movements are normal, no nausea or vomiting, no changes in appetite or diet. The pain isn't sever enough that it wakes me or prevents me from working, it's more of a nuisance like being poked with a sharp pencil.

Anyone here have SIBO before? I think I got it, along with the vitamin deficiency caused by it. Want to know if the low FODMAP diet worked/what your diet was to handle it until you got the antibiotics.

This short video contains advice provided by an experienced heart surgeon. Listen to him….your life could depend on it.

In general it's nuts what people are just okay with doing. They say time moves fast as an adult cause we stop challenging ourselves. I got coworkers who go to bed at a reasonable hour, get no sleep, wake up tired, then drink 6 cups of coffee from 6:30 am to 2pm and wonder why they're dizzy. I fast every day and generally try to go sober. I got anxiety from coffee at some point but it stopped, but obviously that should be a sign that I should quit coffee as well. I mostly drink it (and alcohol) if I'm bored to tears, so it's up there with binge eating which I don't do but yknow, same concept.

Generally it's just worth it trying to better your life for no other sake than doing it.

Anyone ever had mucoid degeneration?? Or know about it?

Doctors determined i had it in the knee, but cant tell me how it happens or what to do. They told me to eat painkillers and dont run.

I tried googling it, but I am none the wiser. Msybe i am just retarded, but I dont even understand what it is. It hurts like hell to walk , and the only thing I want to know is, if it is ok for me to work out and run as usual?

Irreversible tissue degeneration

Mucoid degeneration is an irreversible tissue degeneration due to the accumulation of mucin within the fibers of tendons, ligaments, and fibrocartilage1. It is a rare pathological condition that can affect the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)23. In mucoid degeneration of ACL, a mucoid-like substance (glycosaminoglycans) gets interspersed within the substance of ACL, causing it to thicken. This can cause knee pain and limited motion when the patient flexes the knee.

For most people, if a behaviour doesn’t impact their health immediately, they have difficulty conceptualizing the longterm costs associated with it.

For instance, almost every single person who uses cocaine will end up having heart problems. Some will get cardiac issues in a few years, some in later years, and a few will experience serious effects almost immediately. But cocaine really effs the heart and there is a bill to be paid if you use it.

Generally it's just worth it trying to better your life for no other sake than doing it.
I’ve never used drugs or alcohol but people who were simply recreational/social users and then decided to give up those vices have told me that living healthy lives by consuming healthy food, getting some exercise, and getting decent sleep is a consistently better feeling and more enjoyable than the ups and downs of drugs and alcohol use.

Any advice for people with generalized anxiety disorder?
- avoid using drugs and alcohol to treat the disorder.
- nicotine and caffeine can worsen anxiety
- write down/keep a journal of what actually works to alleviate symptoms
- prioritize what’s actually important in your life
- eat healthy/whole foods. Avoid eating too much sugar.
- get some exercise every day
- try to get quality sleep by going to bed at the same time every night

Serious question. Should I make a spin off thread about sexual health or will that attract the wrong people?

I'm trying to see if that 4chan /fit/ image on how to make yourself have a healthy sex life will kill me, because I've never heard of some of the supplements and I know you can take too much zinc and kill yourself easily.

Medikiwis, question for you.

How do I fix the massive gap that is my anus?

It all started approximately 4 days ago after I played a certain way. Long story short - I may have gone too far. My anus is now so loose that shit just comes out and like I'm not even aware of it, I don't even feel it. I simply stand up and feel a gigantic turd fall into my underwear, then slide further down staining my legs. Annoying and embarrassing as fuck, even for me.

I've got really bad muscle pains in my neck and back. It's been progressively getting worse for a while. At work I change between sitting and standing often but it's not really helping. At the moment I'm having to take far more pain killers than I'd like and it's not doing much.

What is the best thing to do about this?

You really should go see a doctor (not a chiropractor). There are so many different causes of back and neck pain.

A GP?

I think it's likely caused by years of IT work and bad posture as my wrists are buggered as well. Also I fall asleep on the couch often and wake up with a sore neck. I have been progressively getting worse for a long time.

Do you get any exercise on a daily basis? If not, I recommend that you start going for walks every day. Start out doing what you’re comfortable with and then progressively lengthen the walks over time. That can definitely help with some of the back pain.

The only exercise I get is walking around at work and carrying heavy things at work some days. There are days where I don't run around the facility all that much though. I can try go out and have a walk, anything that will help stop the pain, my muscles are so stiff.

This is a weird one, for a decade now i've had this red rash that breaks out on my face and I have to take micreme h to stop it. At first it would go away for a long time, now if I don't put cream on my face for two days it hits me hard. It's hard to get a photo where it shows how red it is, and my skin is greasy from the cream here, but this is what it's like -

Does anyone know what this is and if there is a better solution to dealing with it?

None of this is medical advice. I am not a nor am I your doctor.
Take a day off. Sit down and think hard about WHAT causes you anxiety.
Write it down if you have to. WHAT are you anxious about? If it’s ‘everything’ then try to narrow it down. Work through the things you do and worry about in a typical week.
Then think for each one: is this a real source if worry or are my thoughts the source of anxiety.
Example: I struggle to pay rent. Real anxiety. Solutions? What can you do to increase cash flow/cut expenses?
Example 2: we are all going to die from climate change. Pointless. Ditch the worry.
If you find yourself thinking all your fears are real, go read some threads on here where trannies and leftists screech about the orange man. Think about how they think those fears are real. They’re not. You’re not like that are you? No. Do not be like that.
For any real anxiety, think of positive mitigations. For ones that are in your head, let it go.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Someone who will be tough on you and do CBT may help. A therapist who affirms you will make you worse so avoid.
Also no booze, no stimulants, get enough sleep.
This looks fungal or bacterial. Have you seen a dermatologist? Do so, get them to take a skin scrape for you. You should always get rashes here (facial, around nose and cheeks) checked, 99.9% of the time it’s something colonising your skin and 0.1% is something genetic. Ten years is too long to be battling something, go see a derm. In the meantime make sure you’re washing pillowcases on hot (iron then too with steam which kills everything.) and change pillow cases every couple of days.

I remember you posting frequently in the How are doing? thread. In your case, the pain is almost certainly psychogenic and won't go away until your mental state improves. Anxiety, hopelessness and despair are the cause of your issues, and as long as such emotional states are present, so will be the pain.
