do you guys like pmag or metal AR mags better
Don't have a AR, but I do have mags (fixed in my rifle lol). All have been metal and work fine. SKS mag is a work of art. I find the belted 300 win mag rounds in my Franchi Momentum can be annoying though. I know they do make 300 win mag AR's (somehow), I don't know how well they would have fixed the belt issue. I do know Ruger P series mags are good, all steel.
Pmags look cool and get me more likes on instagram but practically I'd do metals all day.
20 round pmags
I've found Lancers to have enough room to upload to 21, so plenty of give on the spring when loaded to 20.

It's only for domestic sales that are heavily restricted. They couldn't give a shit if you're buying containers full of em in the US lmao.
You dont even need particularly high strength steel for some calibers. I doubt anyone buying barrel blanks from china to make some home made gun is going to have the cutting tools and machinery needed to make even a 556 barrel. But 9mm mak or 22lr are very low pressure, and can be safely fired out if even lowgrade steel provided its not totally metallurgically inconsistent and is thick enough. Hell they used to make gun barrels out of straight brass (called gun metal) back in the day.
This is true and will remain so until they bend the knee to popular demand and bring back the P7. That is their only path to redemption.
My Brownells 20 rounder works fine fully loaded and inserted on a closed bolt. Of course it seems they may have altered it in the meantime, but I'll be getting a few more for my new A1 Dissipator LARP kit.
This was brought up in the UK riots thread, and the issue I brought up (and really one of the major issues with 3D printing as a definitive solution to gun control) is that while it’s not too difficult to print a firearm, where are you going to get the ammo? I doubt you can get something like 9mm easy, it’ll be hard to make it yourself (a sperg in Germany tried to do a mass shooting with a FGC with 9mm black powder ammo and it jammed after like 4 rounds), and even if you use something a little easier to get like .22lr I guarantee you that the Brits have some retarded law against possessing too many bullets or some shit.
the only rifle i have like that is the mosin. and by that i mean the brass rounds seem to expands so much that it makes operating the bolt difficult, but steel cases dont seem to cause this problem for me. last time i shot the mosin i was using brass case and i had to literally palm heel strike the bolt open after each shot. when i got back home my palm was so sore and bruised from it. never had to do that with steel case.
My Beretta 1951 9mm is picky with brass but eats magtech and barnaul steel just fine
