There was a 1911 and Hi-power mod that allowed the hammer to be down while cocked and locked. it would only spring backwards to the firing position when the safety was flicked off. was supposed to make it impossible for the gun to fire if the hammer sears failed. can't go off half cocked if its not cocked (but it is). also makes it less snag prone and possibly more comfortable to carry. Does anybody own one of these? Can someone explain to me what the hell "triple action" is or why you would want it over the double or single action this service handgun already has? I must have watched a dozen videos on this gun and while people soyjak over how good le triple action is, nobody can explain why it's such a good idea.... that literally no other pistol in existence has this triple action crap.
The Glock 19/17 fit "bitch" hands just fine, and for that matter, new Beretta 92's with the "Vertec" grip (straight) fit "bitch hands" very well, too, especially if you use the trigger that was also designed with it that has a shorter reach.
If we want to be "old school" about it, the Hi-Power grip also tends to fit "bitch hands", too, along with the CZ75.
Now that I think about it, the original Beretta 92 grip is fatter than a USP 45, and about as fat as my FNX, which kinda makes them an outlier for 9mm pistols, imho.
the S&W M&P line, derived from the Sigma more or less, is very popular and are about $100 cheaper for the LE package compared to the Glock blue label and comparable for price at retail (S&W M&P 9mm full size is around $520, and a Glock 17 is closer to $550). the CZ-USA P10 has been made in the US for quite a while (import ones say made in Czech Republic and have a Kansas City rollmark) and is in the $400 range.
people do buy them, and they're often cheaper as well or very similar in price with CZ P10 having a price advantage. they do not have mind share though, as you demonstrate. also it's quite easier to find Glock LEO trade ins than the M&P which dump the price significantly if you want to include used guns.
there's been some internal messages to distributors and service centers. i can't comment on specifics, but i will say that the P10 will hit $350 or under about a month prior to release of the new model. same mag compatibility though high cap mags might need a base plate swap.
Thank God. Also the 17 rounders use the same spring as the 15s which I just decided not to mess with them much. It would be nice if the new model has 17 flush fit. The P10 for $350 optics ready is an insane deal. The trigger to me is perfect for a carry. No grit. Solid wall. Not much travel. Not too light. Love it
I never understood the whole Glock clone market, myself. Without diving dick first into politics, the Glock 80% kits were always going to sell like crazy for 101 reasons. Everybody else trying to build a better mousetrap or a slightly cheaper mousetrap imho never made it worth the $$$ instead of just buying a real Glock with decades of factory based fine tuning since day 1. I find everything they aesthetically did after Gen 2 pretty pointless. Besides a rail for light and ambi mag release for the lefties nothing really was accomplished imho. Adjustable backstrap? Really? Adding another part to a utilitarian service pistol? Yeah, no thanks
daggers don't shoot on their own : )
Ah c'mon. Well the next one is supposed to be a FCU so maybe they'd have an option. The Czech military replaced their shadows with P10's I wonder if theirs have safetiesSweetnow if CZ would just make a P10 with a safety....
I have to ask...Sweetnow if CZ would just make a P10 with a safety....

Do you seriously own like triple digit firearms? No shade at all, just that even the stuff that seems wildly obscure you seem to have one or two of.i still have one when they were imported for a short time as surplus K5's in the 90's.
Had no clue Benelli made rifles. Rather interesting aesthetic with their shotgun grip/stock.its been a while kiwifrens, got the MR1 chopped down to proper RX4 storm specs.
Heck yes they do. Especially their polymer stuff (which I say as someone who owns exactly none of those).CZ makes some slept on pistols.
enough to have dedicated security and storage by a very large margin. i'm probably at the point of being able to fire a different gun in each hand every day of a year and have no repeats.Do you seriously own like triple digit firearms?
its a after market mod you can install your self. still being sold. expensive though. That might have been what I was talking about. I only ever saw one HP with it and it was over twenty years ago, and admittedly my longterm memory has dulled in my old age. I don't think FN offered that variant for very long.
I have to ask...
Why? It's a striker gun with a trigger dingus.

yes, a 18" LE barrel with folding stock through FIE bought in the mid-90's, although i do not have the rare AR-15 style stock or the shot diverter sadly. i use delrin buffers to keep it in shooting order since those are easy to get. i do not have the desirable SPAS-15 thoughyou got a SPAS-12
Especially the new nocturne 09c, with the all the upgrades.View attachment 7114663
You'll hate it.
If you do end up with one just send it here and I'll handle it.

Impressive. How about something more rare, a Walther MPL?yes, a 18" LE barrel with folding stock through FIE bought in the mid-90's, although i do not have the rare AR-15 style stock or the shot diverter sadly. i use delrin buffers to keep it in shooting order since those are easy to get. i do not have the desirable SPAS-15 though![]()

Yeah it does even come with a wireless trigger like the 320Damn thats a relief to hear they totally absolutely suck. My brain already has issues enough with really wanting unnecessary guns when I should be getting something practical like lights or optics for another, I definitely won't be looking for one to handle at a gun shop anytime soon. I had no idea they made a P09 compact with all these upgrades from the factory. And for only $579 MSRP.
One day, brother. We need kiwi callsigns so I don't get smoked by one of you during.......The Collapse.enough to have dedicated security and storage by a very large margin. i'm probably at the point of being able to fire a different gun in each hand every day of a year and have no repeats.
Guess you should have picked up some of the Kiwi patches during whichever merch run that was.One day, brother. We need kiwi callsigns so I don't get smoked by one of you during.......The Collapse.
