My take is that you should have 2 types of camo: real camo and social camo:
1) Know your area. If you have to be out of society, in the woods, desert, plains, mountains, fall and snow, have camo(s) to fit any need.
2) Social Camo: In a police state and in society, the best camo is to look unassuming. Flannels and grays/navy blues/etc. No bright colors ("hey, it was that guy with the bright pink backpack!"), look as forgettable as possible. The ability to throw your weapon off and disappear in a worse case scenario can save you for another day. The forever disease will make shit especially easy for you to wear a mask/cover your face.
Personal Camo recommends:
-Multicam (normal/Arid) is becoming very popular, and a lot of shit now is solid colors or mc. mc is pretty versatile, but larpy cuz the army uses it now.
-Flecktarn: A lot of people like it, but it is very dark. unless you live in a dark area, I would recommend something else. It is easier to make light camo dark then dark camo light.
-Penncott Grenzone: A lot of people will give this shit cuz it's not "adopted", but it is beloved by many people who use it. Blends very well in the woods and is micro/macro designed, meaning it works will up close and far away. Something M81 won't do for you.
-Concamo: Concamo looks the most impressive to me. Every pic I seen of Concamo gen 2 Green or the Brown variant really blows me away with how effective it is. Concamo's biggest downside is it's lack of use. UFpro sells shit in gen 1 green (not as good imo), and ghosthood makes cool concamo shit, but no proper uniforms in it (despite being shown in all their advertising, like, wtf?)
-AOR2: the navy pattern, pretty interesting. The green version retains the digital camo but now uses a pallette more akin to mulitcam then anything else. The desert pattern (NWU type 2) looks great and is the choice of Seals, if you are a die-hard larper.
