Anyone have experience with swampfox optics? Thinking about getting one of their rmr for a glock 17 build I just put together

How does the placard mount to the slick? There might be a way to get a MOLLE placard for the front.
If there's nothing compatible you may have to pick a placard with preset pouches as close as possible to what you need and get a MOLLE cummerbund for the specifics.
If you can sew in the attachment points you need it simplifies things.
The placard is mounted via velcro and secured with the elastic cummerbund (also velcro). This is the carrier.

Gotcha. Those vertical laser cuts in the front can be used to hook the suspension by weaving the g-hook through it.
God bless, the info I was looking for! So I'm assuming the best way to do this would be to g-hook to a regular buckle female end, then have the option to add a chest rig onto that.

At this point it's up to preference. There's placards that come with the G-hook already pre-installed. I picked this vanilla MOLLE just as an example off the search engine, it's Arbor Arms and I didn't even know the company. The G-hook itself can be slide adjusted for height and hook into the vertical cuts directly. The velcro backing holds it in place.

So pick the placard/micro chest rig you want first and see what attachment options it comes with. If they only take buckles, you use the g-hook and buckle adapter. If they have the G-hook option you can attach it directly.
Now depending on how you want to fix it to the sides, you may have to run a strap along the rear or sew a little buckle adapter. I picked some screenshots off a Blue Jean Operator video where he attached a Chicom rig to a plate carrier:

The plate carrier didn't have those side buckles so he ran a strap with the buckles on both ends behind that flap.

According to the Sage Dynamics White Paper (THE definitive resource for MRDS durability data). A Swampfox Justice has suffered heavily cracked glass and a dented housing after two drop tests but is still functional after 1128 rounds (drop tests are conducted every 500 rounds from shoulder height into concrete while mounted to s pistol).

Video reviews of the Swampfox Justice and Sentinel optics.

Now you may not be too concerned about durability but keep in mind the White Paper also contains a listing for several Holosun optics that vastly outperform the Justice. Holosun is only slightly more expensive than Swampfox if you shop around

I bought some very cheap (like 50% off). They were fine, ended up flipping them on glock talk for close to retail.

Just buy an RMR....or I guess a Holosun

Rate these builds.

1. "Is that a snipah?" 3/10
2. Ribbed for his pleasure handguard, gay icon Patrick Starfish to feed it. Adding a point due to Pride month. 4/10.
3. You're 18 and living in California, just mowed enough lawns to get your first rifle (which you have to hide from your parents). 5/10.
4. Ghost in the Shell tier, if that optics riser isn't from some sci-fi airsoft replica I don't even know what's going on. Slashing a point because that's a fin grip. 9/10.

I would never buy anything UTG, garbage. Magpul Pro will be much higher quality. You get what you pay for.
I have a UTG bipod on my AR-10. It's decent, but it's kind of difficult to fuck up a bipod. It's bulky but at least it doesn't feel cheap.

I would also add Meprolight to the list to avoid, at least as far as their tritium iron sights go. Only $100 for front/rear combo but while the front sights are decent the rears are absolute dogshit.

Confirmation hearing for new ATF director is tomorrow morning. If you're one to send emails/make phone calls nows the time.
