Pmags are the standard now but I still prefer Surefeeds myself.

The poly windowed magpuls seem to have an issue with fully seating without fiddling on several platforms.I've never had an issue with GI or Pmags, were you having issues with specific mags?
Get promags. Trust me they're so popular that they sell like hotcakes.Any magazine recommendations for the AR-15 platform? I have ditched everything except for surefeed but they are discontinued.
Never used a windowed magazine, so I can't say anything on that matter. The only mags I run are GI or Magpul, but I've heard good things about Lancer mags. The poly windowed magpuls seem to have an issue with fully seating without fiddling on several platforms.
I swear to god if you took my suggestionOrder placed. Thanks for the recommendation

Surefeed gave me a ton of issues when I loaded it. Not sure why. Maybe the rifle just hated surefeeds. Rest of the mags from various sources (pmag, USGI et al) work fine.Any magazine recommendations for the AR-15 platform? I have ditched everything except for surefeed but they are discontinued.
Sometimes you get a dud, just how the QA carousel works even with good companies. I have like 20+ Surefeeds and never had a issue.Surefeed gave me a ton of issues when I loaded it. Not sure why. I think it was a gun specific issue since I bought 4 mags separately and had them all exchanged and returned...Sometimes you get a dud, just how the QA carousel works even with good companies. I have like 20+ Surefeeds and never had a issue.
I've encountered rifles that only work with Promags; but they'd probably been molested hard in the past to get to that point, the poor things.Get promags. Trust me they're so popular that they sell like hotcakes.
Anybody here with astigmatism? I've got it bad, even green dots look like Florida or a J or some shit. Still, I'm looking for a pistol dots that I can use. I've got a swampfox with their green "circle dot" cross hair reticle right now. It's not bad, better than solid dot for sure, but the dot in the middle still smears horizontally, kind of a fuzzy dumbbell shape. I find that with the current zero, the left bulge correlates with POA fairly consistently. Usable, but somewhat distracting.
I've heard that the holosun models with the Vulcan reticles are astigmatism friendly-ish. Can anyone here corroborate?
You need true holographic, like an EOTech. I'm not sure which other ones use the technology. You could just correct the astigmatism. It's what I did when it started happening, but I already used glasses for myopia, so probably more of a hassle for people who can otherwise see.Anybody here with astigmatism? I had very bad astigmatism before my PRK surgery. The only thing that is truly going to work for you are prismatic sights. You will save yourself a lot of time and money and just look for prism sights unless you can correct your vision.Anybody here with astigmatism? Try to get actually glass for the lens and not whatever polycarb stuff they have. Seems to reduce it for my friend.Anybody here with astigmatism?
