Antioch PD
toxic leadership that wants to replace oakland, but barely eclipses pittsburg. city can't even get BART to return their text smh.

a lot of people in pittsburg, antioch, martinez, et c either are pushing to "promote out and up" into a state or county job, or get a contract out from pinole or hercules, which is pretty common if you get in to Alameda or CCC (which is what i eventually did after i got sick of the constant shuffle between WC and Martinez for baliff duties and didn't have enough hours to keep afloat while renting a place and going to night school). BART police is a decent gig if you don't mind the biohazard of the work environment and "patrons" - transit police in general have horrifying work environments.

It's always stood out to me that I have literally never seen an Indian who owned a gun in my life. I see plenty of whites, blacks, hispanics, and asians at the ranges I go to who own and shoot their own guns at the very least, even if most of them probably don't vote pro 2A. But I've never seen an Indian show up to a range with his own gun. At the most, a pack of H1Bs will head bobble their way into the range, rent a gun or two, and take turns taking photos of each other shooting it. Meanwhile the current administration is loosening restrictions for more visas from India and there's so many coming in that anti caste discrimination laws are beginning to be a thing in cities.
I live in a major metropolitan city, I've seen a few pajeets with pistols. As we all know niggers love to rob liquor stores, and by rob I mean kill the owner and take the whopping $400 out of the register. The pajeets don't love guns like the koreans do but, they have them under the counter sometimes.

It's funny because now you can just apply anywhere and get hired on. Even agencies here that are lateral only are taking cadets sometimes.

It kaboom'ed or you had an accident using power tools? I was always told black powder was so underpowered if you filled the entire thing with BP and shoved a patch and ball ontop it wouldn't explode.

I always wanted to built a muzzle loader pistol from scratch. I have a nice lathe and a moderate milling machine. I've always kept my eye out for a 9mm barrel blank in at gun shows. I figured that would be the place to start.
No, I was test fitting it together to have a better understanding of what needed to be done.
The brass edges were rough and sharp.
Lockwork got stuck in the wood bit and instead of doing it right I just tried to pull them apart.
It slipped out of my hand and well...

What holographic sights do yins suggest
Theres only really two real holographic sights I'm aware of that regular people can get. The Vortex UH-1 and Eotechs. I had an Eotech and sold it for an Aimpoint, because it weighs less and I can leave it on. If you want a Holographic sight I'd go with the Eotech, from what I've seen the difference in glass quality and NV performance(the two big selling points of holos) is enough to justify an Eotech over a UH-1.

I have several eotechs and a UH-1. (The UH-1 has a funny story behind it but it could dox me so no. :/)

Agreed. The 'grainy' look of the diffraction grating looks much worse on the UH-1, and it's no lighter. About the only neat thing it has over an eotech is the built in charging interface for RCR-123s. But most people will get far better bang/buck from a red dot.

Eotech looks like what I fired on the range and had success with.

I am also looking for a ranged scope that has night vision, a digital rangefinder, and a recording mechanism. I would like this to support any self-defense claims.

This is probably what I'm looking for: https://www.atncorp.com/x-sight-5-lrf-day-night-rifle-scope-5-25x
Exactly what sort of imminent threat/defense of life situation are you expecting that requires a 5-25x?

Ha. I'm also trying to envision the sort of scenario that would stand up as self defense in court but also require magnification (25x!) and coming up with nothing.

-Make shit ass cast trunnion RAS series guns
>they break
-make shit ass billet trunnion VSKA series guns
>they break
-Finally stop Jewing it up and pony up the cash for forged trunnions, not any forged trunnions but specifically extra strength RPK trunnions
>the

>break
The only gun I've had from Century Arms that they (allegedly) made and never had trouble with was the VZ 2008.
