Day 3 - firearm nvestigators testimony in the manslaughter trial of Hanna Gutierrez

Day 4 - State firearm expert testimony

Apart from the defense being absolutely unprepared & incompetent, the state's witnesses have been pretty good. The FBI did some destructive testing of the evidence pistol, but the state was able to replace those parts and found damage to the internals beyond what the FBI inflicted; namely to the hammer full-cock sear, so that the hammer wouldn't remain cocked; upon release it would immediately drop and be caught at the safety/halfcock notch, and that it absolutely wouldn't have fired without a trigger pull.

But besides all that, shocked pikachu face that several other unintentional discharges happened & someone ultimately got shot, after listening to how tore up that production was.

Gutierrez is also up for evidence tampering, because someone saw her hand off a small bag of white powder to another crew member, before cops arrived. And the search of her phone records revealed she tried to get it back.

While dicking around on Wikipedia, I was made aware of a piston version of the Eponymous M&P-15, The M&P-15 PS, but that isn't what this segment is about. There is literally only one decent quality video about this thing and it contains something very interesting that I have never seen before, a S&W Branded Gen 2 PMAG in the rifle's magwell. Does anyone have any information regarding these? Never seen one before.

I have a single pistol permit left to use, I'm tempted to get either a Jericho or a compact PDP, anyone else have recommendations?

Also there's a new addition to the list of what not to bring to gunfights.

Jericho. Jericho all over the fucking place. But not the IWI Jericho's. Those are cheap and lack all the best parts of what a Jericho is. The slides are two pieces (that break), they are fatter than the OG. The profile has been changed so they look worse. The materials are way shittier, and the barrels are no longer cold hammer forged, chrome hexagon patterned, good for a million rounds works of art they were.
Get an IMI, frame or slide safety/decocker to preference. But the IMI Jericho is my favorite handgun crafted, and up until I got that BUL Cherokee to replace it in case of oopsie, I have happily carried the full size almost daily for a decade. The polygonal rifling, super low bore axis, and weight of the full steel frame make this the best shooting handgun I have ever held. It also mitigates recoil insanely, to the point where I've been able to hand the thing to people who haven't ever shot a .22, and after a few minutes of safety and grip training, have them smacking targets dead center at 15 yards.
I'm biased because I love mine, but it is honestly the most accurate, enjoyable, and robust gun I have ever had the courtesy to shoot. Looks really fucking pretty, too.

Yeah Jerichos are boss. You deserve one and want one.

I got it during my "cz75" hoarding phase (they are related) but i won't lie I got a stainless rod so I can cowboy Bebop larp.

The more of them that I hold, I honestly think I'm married to the CZ design. All my favorite guns I've gotten to shoot have just been CZ clones of different countries.

Do you want one for carry? If so I can recommend the S&W M&P 2.0 compact. I've heard a lot of good things about that Walther for carry too.

I like the Jericho but I'd think if you're going to go for that getting a CZ 75 would be better from the perspective of aftermarket support available. Please post about what you get after you've had some time with it.
I have a full size PDP which I do not really want to carry anymore because it was my first handgun so it's sentimental. Currently I go between the G43x and the G29. I was originally considering a shieldplus or something at the minimum, allows me to get a holster compatible with the enigma. I lean on the choice of a Jericho for 1. personal reasons, 2. I have a Shadow 2 already.

I've been looking at osme 941's on fuddbroker and the LGS has the "enhanced" which is polymer frame, not too sure what I'll pull the trigger on yet, might go look at Walthers tomorrow.

I knew you were gay. We can smell our own, even over the Internet.

I hope you want a pre-rail Jericho so you can Spike Spiegel larp.

Edit: After checking prices on used 941 R's I have to recommend against the anime larp. Do these sellers think all weebs are rich or something?

If you're going for a Jericho to get a Jericho, get either an old Baby Eagle or an IMI. If you're looking for something like the Jericho but in poly/compact, best to just get a CZ. The new Jerichos are that in name only, and you're getting a subpar gun for the same price as a decent one. THAT BEING SAID, right now there is a compact, full steel IMI Jericho on fuddbroker for like $325. Which is less than I paid for my police import "holy grail" OG Jericho over a decade ago. If I believed in hoarding, I'd have bought it already.
TLDR, if you want a Jericho, get a full steel IMI in whatever size, as anything else is just a subpar CZ selling to you on the name. The OG Jericho is simple and does what it does the best, and changes to that just make it a shittier CZ. If you want a poly, get that Walther, you will not be disappointed.

How about option 3: CZ P-01 the compact alloy frame take on the SP-01, got to try one out and it's a nice shooter and comfortable to carry.

I got mine for the LARP, but I got the 941F SAO. Because A: I'm not paying Fudd prices for the perfect recreation. And B: I actually like the frame safety more, the shelf it gives is perfect for choking on the pistol. So much so that I have been trying to figure out if I can find the slide release/safety lever from the new Poly frame Jericho to jam into the BUL Cherokee because they fit my hands like a glove. The parts go back and forth between the two where I can put either slide on either part. But the OG Jericho slide release is just a hair too short because the Cherokee has a thicker frame because plastic. Anyone have measurements on the frame thickness of the poly Jeris or the length of the slide release/safety levers?

Very haram, but I just took some glass sandpaper to the tip of my blued rod till it got shiny and silver. XD

I really like these. I'd love it if I could find a cheap CZ RAMI. Those things are so fucking sick looking, tiny, and still have great capacity. If they weren't an arm and leg....
