Absolutely not. Its nearly the pinnacle of small arms development. And the rifles that do things better than it(say a folding/collapsible stock) are AR derived like the Sig MCX.
If you want an AK74SU theres absolutely no reason you shouldnt be buying the one PSA just released. Or if youre a super purist wait until they release the 5.45 version.
And if you just want a short AK in general, like at their pistols. I picked up a GF3 and while i havent fired it yet the fit and finish on it is good. Also have one of their 103s and an AKV and havent been disappointed by those.
I bet they use the government profile barrel on it, like PSA did. I highly dislike that barrel profile. Assuming they're manufacturing these according to the TDP I get why they do it but I'm not a fan.
Especially since you can get a nearly identical rifle from PSA for a lot less money. Doubt the Springfield will perform any better.
Lower Parts kits have become more easier to install with set screws being more available and cassette triggers. It's always the small roll pins that is the hardest part.
Though with uppers, I buy them assembled since I don't know the means to do that barrel nut torque stuff. Probably the only changes I make, is the muzzle brake charge.
I have more than a handful of the G17 mags.
They are probably the best of the non factory mags available but not 100%.
Plinking, training, blasting they are great and keep wear and tear off your factory mags.
Anything that might require serious interaction, like CCW, you want the factory Glork mags.
Got to shoot a buddies 7.62 draco this weekend. Tiny, tiny barrel.
Let me tell you guys, very few guns have I encountered my entire life that I have fired a handful of rounds out of and handed back going, "Nah dude, I'm good."
I have no idea how hood rats blow through whole magazines without having to learn ASL.
Even through ear pro, out in the woods for sound dampen, the concussive force from it made you blind and deaf for half a second, knocked the fucking phlegm out of your lungs. That little draco is a fucking thumper. If the first round doesn't hit, the noise'll make em split.
So it really solidifies that I am, in fact, getting the PSA Krink with the longest barrel I can muster and then also putting some more on the front.
You could
Check out Silencer Shop dot com. They have revolutionized and simplified the whole ATF application process and made it so much easier for the applicant. They also team with local gun shops where they have an electronic kiosk to do everything from filling out and submitting the Form 4 to taking your photo and fingerprints. They have a large selection on their website with reviews from customers to give you an idea of what suppressors are available and popular. I went to one of my local bang shops who is one of their Elite level partners to order my Vox S and will submit my Form 4 there when it comes in. The guy who helped me was even able to reach out to one of the Silencer Shop employees who he's buddies with to find out how long it will take for my suppressor to come in. He didn't have to do that, but he wanted me to have an idea how long my wait will be.
I second them being a solid retailer/dealer. Great selections, competitive pricing, helpful staff. I also second SilencerCo being a good maker. I've only ever used their rifle cans (Omega 300 and Velos) but if those are indicative of their production quality you'll be fine. Also recommend checking out Otter Creek Labs Lithium cans. That dude makes good stuff.
I don't even like .45 ACP and I'm still jealous you have one of these and I don't. If/when you get a can for it, please post your thoughts and maybe some pictures.
Speaking of red dots, it would be nice to see other companies catch up to Holosun in terms of handgun optics. Why they're one of the few who offer red dots that mount to specific optics ready handguns without a shitty adapter plate and have shake awake is beyond me.
It sure is. A local gun store/range had a Staccato event a while back and you glt 1 magazine through their standard model. It was outstanding to shootYeah, I really like the Staccato. STI/Staccato have been around for a while and know their stuff. IMHO if you want a 2011 style pistol for carry/duty, the Staccato is your best bet.

I got the version with the rubber molded grip as opposed to the one with the G10 grip the local store had. That grip felt thin in my huge ogre hands so hopefully this version will be a bit more ergonomic.great to carry and 5-shots of something mean is a great little defender. a very popular set of "must haves" that people like are a fiber optic or high visibility front sight and perhaps a grip swap to something that fills the hand to make shooting feel better.
I know hot take but I feel bad for the guy he's a martyr but years after in court this will all be shredded as the bullshit it is.
How long ago did you send in the rebate? For me it took months, I actually was moving out and forgot when it finally came in the mail. I think it came the day before I moved lolberetta still hasn't given me those 150 bucks
shit, back in like the middle of december. they said four to eight weeks...How long ago did you send in the rebate? For me it took months, I actually was moving out and forgot when it finally came in the mail. I think it came the day before I moved lol

Colt detective special earlier model with exposed ejector, aftermarket grip. Seems like that meets everything you want. Can you revolver nerds help me out? I'm looking for a revolver that looks just like this, the only problem this one is in 44 special and I want either 357 or 45colt. I like the short barrel, exposed ejector, ROUNDED wood grip.
Colt Detective was only available in .32, .38 Short, and .38 Special - i'd agree that a Colt Detective would probably meet his needs, but his post indicated .357 or .45 Colt specifically. since i don't think anyone made .45 Colt into a reasonably modern revolver like that (.45 Long Colt being an exception since i've seen a couple floating around), i think .357 is the likely candidate.Colt detective special earlier model with exposed ejector, aftermarket grip. i just want my hundred and fifty manYou might want to try giving them a call
oh shit is there a tri lug adapter for those? i'm dangerously close to getting a can and i'll put it on my ARV dressed up as an MP5 so that nobody but me knows what the fuck is going onDead Air Wolverine since it's designed after the Ruskie suppressors that were made for the AKS-74U, but it's a modern Western can so you get better sound reduction. I believe they're one of the more affordable rifle cans and fairly flexible since they're a .30 can.
The only appropriate can for any AK platform is that one that Karl had made custom for him by a child molester.@Falcos_Commisar the only appropriate suppressor for a Krink would be the Dead Air Wolverine since it's designed after the Ruskie suppressors that were made for the AKS-74U, but it's a modern Western can so you get better sound reduction.
