I want to get a collapsible baton for my rig so if I lose my knife I at least have something to continue to defend myself with. Of course, that's probably on a bunch of ban lists by name so I'll have to do research. Bet brits can't even have those :/
There's a guy I saw recently who makes high quality old school leather saps, the kind with lead weights in them, and they're pretty affordable too.
The Dude beat me to it: get a sap if you can at all. I prefer ones that are shaped more like a small club than a beavertail. Yes, you need to get in damn close to an opponent to utilize one and this means you'd better be trained, fit, and well-practiced. I assure you it's worth the time and effort because a sap will fuck someone up like you don't know.

hey completely random, but i know ammo skyrockets on election years, but dose anyone have any leads on some cheap 5.56/.223 online deals for forth of July? I'm trying to get 1000+ rounds before prices get absurd. got PSA and Last shot AZ on lock, but i am really trying to get a 1 year supply of the stuff before debate season starts up.

Be careful, a lot of the cheap stuff is remanufactured garbage and/or has hidden fees. Double check that you’re getting factory ammo and that the total price including shipping is fair.

I like Fenix Ammo because the owner is extremely based but his current price is $0.44/round for .223 FMJ with a minimum purchase of 2000 rounds which isn’t the cheapest.

Q: Are you really discriminating against people who voted for Joe Biden?

A: Yes, we are, and for good reason. Joe Biden ran on a campaign built on the most radical gun control platform we've ever seen. If it was up to him and his administration, companies like ours wouldn't exist. If it was up to them, firearms and ammunition manufacturing would become a nationalized industry meant to serve only the military and police.

We are a company who believes in the Second Amendment as a first principle. The right to use basic human technology to prevent your life from being taken is something that transcends politics, but unfortunately, there is one particular political ideology who seems hell bent on disrupting this balance of power between the citizenry and the government.

If you voted for Biden, we suggest you become familiar with his campaign promises as it pertains to gun control so you never do that again, or, we suggest you sell your firearms to someone who is more interested in preserving the rights that make up the fabric of our nation.

Personally, I'd rather just build from a parts kit a gun, but I'm insane like that.

Not strictly gun related, any thoughts on the new NDAA requirements for the draft? Sounds like they're going to move us back towards conscription and probably a real war now. I wonder if even higher prices for ammo are coming to stay for a quite a while if that is the case, I don't think they'll drop until years after. There's several provisions in the NDAA about expanding domestic manufacturing and raising stockpile limits (?).
Requires a multiyear plan for DOD activities to establish a regional contingency stockpile for Taiwan
Requires actions to improve supply chain security, including the establishment of secondary domestic production sources at existing arsenals, depots, and ammunition plants to address munition supply chain chokepoints.

Outside of adding women to the draft it's mostly just a modernization of the system and nothing that new. Congress has been trying to do this since Bush was in office.

Unless you believe A&H who are convinced this means that the nukes are going to start dropping any day now.

Oh please, those cocksuckers tease us constantly with the good stuff but never deliver.

For ammo I've enjoyed Defender Ammo, LAX ammunition, and SGAmmo for good prices. I bought some Lakeshore M193 for $.39 CPR a few days ago. They say it'll take 10 business days to ship. I'll let you all know if they're legit.

SGAmmo had really great prices in the past. I used to purchase ammo from them frequently. Unfortunately they began price gouging once the 2020 riots started and continued to price gouge well after most online retailers began lowering prices. Even now, their prices are still a bit high.

I'd buy more ammo from Fenix, but the one time I did, I purchased 900 rounds of 124gr 9mm, and it was noticeably underpowered compared to any of the 9mm range stuff I usually shoot (mostly 124gr S&B). I've never shot any of their 5.56, but $0.49/rnd shipped for 55gr is pretty comparable to most retailers right now.
