I will have the technology to detect approaching threats before they get to the bunker. The large gun I want will be from long range. That's also why I want an RPG. If a fortnite party bus breaks through the swamp gate, I have use for it.

A 'home defense' setup is typically centered around potential indoor use since it could happen. Unless you're buying your own Tranch, you're not going to have the time to get a long range setup in place, and if it's in a built up environment the potential for collateral damage is high, especially with big fuckoff calibers.

There are also tactical and legal implications. Why would you emerge from your home and make yourself a much clearer target? Clearing buildings is risky dangerous work because when you enter you likely don't know what the deal is, the defender has a significant advantage.

That's some confidence. So look, without breaking opsec too much, what are we talking here? Is this the general US idea of 'a house', or are we talking 40 acres in the swamp or bumfuck Texas?
 
To be fair it's going to be hard to maneuver a 48 inch long rifle inside anyways.

Unless if the user is a school-shooter or a mass murderer. But mainly people uses rifles indoor for firing test ranges that are specialized for it, including the usage of anti-tank/anti-materiel rifles in indoor firing ranges with distancing targets.

There are still people having rifles for self-defense and home defense purposes, but there are other purposes a rifle has. The most fun method to use a rifle in my opinion were game hunting with sniper rifles in the safari or jungles.

Nice! Would you also think of other big boys like the FIM Stinger, Boys, Mauser 1918, PTRD 41, M134 or the GShG-7.62? Big boys are heavy and costly when it comes to mind, but can be worthwhile for an all-out-assault, in my opinion.

Josh, an AR10 is good to go. POF or PWS makes excellent AR10s. AR15s hold more ammo, are easier to shoot accurately and quickly, and are far more common commercially than AR10s. .308 hits a fuck of a lot harder than 5.56, but keep in mind every weapon is a compromise.

Bro, how much shit are you talking to people online? You always seemed like a nice young man to me. Also, take it from me, drunk fat girls are fucking useless in a fight, so if you're doing point defense see about setting up an M240G. I've seen guys fuck up a lot of people quickly with those, even by themselves.

Ok. You might want to start talking to defense contractors. Like at this point I'm imaging shreks swamp, a vast open area, just with cameras. Like what do you actually want, remote control turrets you can man from behind a concrete pillbox?

Yes, basically. I'm saving up for as much cheap worthless land I can get in some state with lots and lots of it and planting down a cheap building with sand in the walls and a starlink on top.

Try Alabama, last time I was looking for land I was finding shit like 300 acre plots at 50-70k apiece back in 2021. It's all shale, red clay, and dense woods which is why developers will never touch it. Plus who the fuck wants to move to Alabama?
On the plus side, it's the most hunter friendly state in the US and having acres and acres of deer woods to yourself will feed you forever.
