Wtf I love glock nowWas Hitler killed with a Glock? No? Then how good are they really?
I think they just got a little inflamed cause they wanted to stress to you not to buy a CA compliant rifle if you're not in California. California forces guns to be neutered and uncomfortable to use so you want to stay away from that.Alright, the reason I was looking at that S&W M&P was you guys told me that is a good rifle, and the listing said “OR CA COMPLIANT” in bold letters. There’s only so much I can do here when I’m walking on landmines of shit ass cheap guns. But I am trying and I’m at least following your advice on what not to get, that’s why I’m asking about each rifle.

Its not a bad rifle (in its non ca compliant form) but most people seem to be concerned more with your financial decisions on financing the gun and pricing ethics, you have plenty of time to save up for a rifle even if its like 50 dollars a month. Especially with trump basically having the election won already you wont have to worry about price increases, transexual anti josh hordes swarming you, bans, ect.Alright, the reason I was looking at that S&W M&P was you guys told me that is a good rifle

Okay doesn't manufacture Surefeeds anymore. As far as I'm aware, most people consider Duramag to be the next best metal mag manufacturer. I've always just used PMAGs.Okay Ind (Surefeed brand) is still around
I get what you're saying and want to point out pulling the trigger in dry fire isn't strictly necessary after you've learned its mechanics.Yes but then you have to rack the slide every time. I’m not worried about breaking my gun from dry fire, I’m wanting to train multiple trigger pulls without racking the slide every time. It’s not the trigger weight that makes the gun move, it’s the act of moving the trigger
very sad, Surefeeds have been excellent mags for decades. i'm guessing CT just isn't economical for that sort of manufacturing anymore combined with actual military authorization for Magpuls. i generally keep Duramags and stainless steel CProducts in my vest but have had a lot of success with Lancers too.Okay doesn't manufacture Surefeeds anymore. This PSA option is only $550 right now.
DS Arms dude. $200 extra for total peace of mind and a substantially better rifle.Alright, the reason I was looking at that S&W M&P was you guys told me that is a good rifle, and the listing said “OR CA COMPLIANT” in bold letters. Personally I'm thinking about a S&W M&P 2.0 in 40 cal for my 40 cal choice if I don't go the SD40VE route. I'm a Smith fan, they were my first pistol and I like the quality. For 9mm it's a Beretta, it's just a classic, a classy one.I'm a Glock guy myself. I always recommend Glocks first thing whenever someone's looking for their first pistol, but I also recommend people look at S&W M&P 2.0, Walther PDP, CZ, and Canik as well. Glocks aren't for everyone. I'm not big on recommending Sigs, but the various P365 models meet some people's needs, and I guess not every P320 will go off on its own, if someone really wants one for whatever reason.

I know man. I showed my guns recently: I got a Smith revolver(American), a Franchi bolt action(Italian), and a Nornico (Chinese) SKS. Each one is a different experience and have their pros and cons.As Americans we have the luxury of choice yet some people latch on to one single brand and make it their life. I like to call these people retards.
I like to think of the M4gery/Glock combo as the legal Yeet Cannon pair where if either are used in a legal confrontation you don't have to stress if you never get them back from the cops because they're plain and replaceable.Personally I'm all in on the try hard philosophy of "One nice AR, one nice Glock" before you should start being picky or romantic.
As a gun Autist, the Glock shares one VERY GOOD thing with the 1911 in common, which is something that other pistol manufacturers SHOULD follow, but rarely don't.Personally I'm thinking about a S&W M&P 2.0 in 40 cal for my 40 cal choice if I don't go the SD40VE route. I've shot Glocks, they shoot fine. They are just boring. If I'm shelling out already, I want something that fits me, something with lines, something sexy. Glock isn't me. This is:

I want something that looks like more than a brick, and arguably has some improvements over the Glock design. That and it's not Austrian. It's American. Yes, I am the kind of guy that WILL pay more to support American workers and a American company like Smith and Wesson, that continues to innovate and make new shit. They just came out with a lever action- they haven't done that since the 1800's. What new shit has Glock done?
