You're not gonna be able to improve on the 500 and actually be competitive with a real one, if they're both made in the USA.

And that's before you even consider the literal thousands of them on the used market.

PSA can't even make an AK that works, what makes you think that they won't fuck up a shotgun?

That's what concerns me, the Maverick 88 is the perfect poorfag gun and if they're trying to go toe-to-toe with it they would have to cut so many corners that it would rival the old potmetal Savage/Stevens/Springfield specials or even the current Turkshit flooding the market.

They make a good glock clone that people like, they make good ar's people like, what makes you think they cant make a shotgun people like. Psa thrives at taking existing ideas, and you act like basically every american manufacturer hasnt fucked up an ak before.

The reason this shotgun is gonna stick around is because they are as easy to fuck around with as a lego kit they built it in mind to be completely disasembled with super basic tools and no heat needed ect. with the 570 the magazine tube screws into the receiver and so does the barrel with this the barrel doesn't depend on the end of the magazine tube to index itself anymore, comes optics ready standard which is a specialty from the others (it also has glock sights which are nice) and they are also selling them as recievers and kits if you want to make a easy aow and pay the tax. They are still making improvements which if its about 400, which everyone is guessing it will be, why would you buy a new mossberg over this if its price matched or lower when its better in every way

Now thats not to say it wont come out be 550 dollars and a piece of shit but if this marketing hype is real its pretty cool

Tikka makes an excellent rifle, you'll be fine in ANY caliber.

At your listed ranges, man .308 all day.

Beyond that have fun as Tikka has retarded aftermarket support (in a good way) and so many great options.

A Remington 700 in .270 Win was my "big game up to Elk" hunting rifle. Not a huge fan of the Rem 700, I prefer Mauser style bolt rifles like the Winchester 70, but I really like .270 Win for a deer rifle. I shot a Pronghorn at right around 400 yards with it. Popped it in the right eye and blew the back of its head out. You get pretty much all the power of Aught Six with much flatter trajectory. The trade off is less flexibility in bullet weight, but really isn't a big deal since if you were going to go for anything larger than Elk you'd probably want to step up to a magnum cartridge.

No joke, getting on a 5-30x coming from a 3-15 or similar is hilarious. Especially if the 5-30x is in a 6.5 Creedmore that shoots like a laser and is hitting .3 MoA groups at 100 yards.

I'd need a bipod to make use of a better scope which means adding a stud. Mine is a VERY early model, so it might require drilling. I know it's possible, fuck this guy did it:
I just don't want to mess up the grip, the best part of the rifle.

That and a second reason. The 4x12 that replaced the factory 3x9 fits VERY close to the gun. You couldn't ask for a better mounting.

i use a Sako 85, but Sako and Tikka (which is owned by Sako) make good rifles well worth the money asked, kind of like Howa imho. while i've hunted with .270, i prefer 6mm Remington over it. the .270 is a great north american deer cartridge and has enough headroom to drive out to 400 yards easily. i prefer 6mm in a shorter, lighter rifles if i'm humping it all day though. for 6.5mm Swedish is comparable to .303 British in most things but more ballistically efficient, has less overall power (so i wouldn't use it for 600+ lb game) but has much gentler felt recoil allowing, again, a lighter rifle to be used, including some options for a plains rifle (we're talking 1000+ yards easily) with the same techniques for long range Mauser accurizing and shooting. that being said, .260 Remington is a more common and less expensive 6.5mm Swedish that performs about the same and 6.5 Creedmoor is "better" than both with the added benefit of modern production. cheap high quality rifles in .260 Rem and 6.5 Swedish are easy to get though.

alternative: 7mm-06 Remington might be something you would like if you're looking at all these cartridges. very flat shooting, very reloader friendly, variety of actions out there to use, can be found commonly enough, has a little secret sauce to make it a bit different than the other things out there, and has headroom if you want to make your own go-getter for something up to an elk or moose, et c and keeps the fur in good condition enough to harvest a coat out of it.

I have found footage of an Suppressed AN-94 being fired. Everyone said that it couldn't be done due to the operating mechanism, but some crazy Russian bastard apparently did it 6 years ago.

I’m kind of shocked how cheap it was. I was expecting to go over $1500 today with attachments and ammo but I got the gun with the 407c at $1,040 plus the additional flashlight and ammo for like $200. I feel very thifty because my dumbass was about to buy a CZ clone B&T Mark ii. I can add more stuff onto this one which is cool.

I dare the homeless niggos to keep putting backpacks in front of my house with burglary tools now.;)

I got lucky because apparently local law enforcement also really likes the 19x so it’s often out of stock.

My 88 Security was $200 out the door.

It's taken a BreecherGrip, buffer tube, stock, front qd, saddle rail, heat shield, and sling, to put it up around $500.

That was the only tlr they had(:_(
I’m planning on buying an appendix holster later in the future. It’ll be a bedside gun for now. I’ll probably return the sub when they’re back in stock I just wanted a flashlight.
