Wait until you find out about stick welders, hose clamps, JB weld, and random screws or nailsBrothers. I gotta tell you. free yourself from faggotry.
The nigger and the seatttle-ite mistakes the dremel as the way of the Fudd and the fool.
If you are a halfway competent nigger, you can dremel your way to victory. Took the red wheel and the polishing compound to everything we have over the course of 16 hours.
Every mating surface shines like mirrors. And every gun runs the shittiest tip half pressed in ammo like it was hand reloaded by JMB.
You can do it. Do it at home. Learn, and you are your own gunsmith.
After the hunting trip, My Jericho was locking up weird. Odd, considering I've put rounds that had the bullet seated halfway through brass through it with no problems. And everything inbetween.
But after dremeling things, and having the mirror polish after so many hours, everything runs like snot on a mirror.
Quit being a dork. Trust yourself. And shine that shit till disco ball.
I'll reitarate, I think the Benelli Nova is better currently for quality. If you eventually want a good and affordable semi, Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol,Personally what I'm thinking of myself when I have some spare scratch. Specifically this one:

7 rounds of 12 gauge. Not bad. Seen burn down videos of it, looks reliable by all accounts.
I wouldn't mind trying one at some point.Beretta is making Tec 9's again... and they're a licensed copy of the B&T version, iirc. They even use B&T magazines.
Oh, and they're under $1k.

You'll get mixed answers. You can find a Howa 1500 (modern Japanese bolt action) for under your budget minus an optic. PSA has quite a few on sale currently.I'm able to get membership to a quite nice shooting range in my area that has places to shoot up to 200 yards. I have a $1000 budget for a bolt action rifle and an optic worth getting. I'm trying to decide on caliber. It would be for training distance shooting (I'm new so 200 yards is distance to me lol) and potentially hunting deer and elk, though I wouldn't be hunting anywhere near as often as I can go to the range obviously.
I've shot 30.06, 30 338, 6.5 creedmore, and a 7mm on a recent hunting trip. It was all my various buddy's guns and I liked all of them and dont have a preference between them. I was able to comfortably hit a gong target at 100 yards, but of course that's not very far.
I've been recommended to get. A 270 win mag, 300 win mag, 6.5 creedmore, and a 7mm. I'd like to get the best compromise I can between the price of ammo and the ability to kill elk without totally overkilling a deer. I've read that 270 win mag can hunt anything and is ubiquitously available, but some of my friends say that it's outdated and a 300 win mag is better, but some others say that would be overkill for deer.
One friend recommended I buy a Ruger American Predator mark II
(https://ruger.com/products/americanRiflePredatorGenII/models.html?n=ov) In 300 win mag.
All these people I've mentioned have varying degrees of expertise and experience with firearms and hunting so I figured I'd get a 9999th opinion from here.
Yeah, well ya aren't getting one of those for under 10k
You're likely right, its itallian after all, but right now that is out of my price range. The Mossberg 88 just has to shoot 12 gauge. I could check the used rack of my LGS for something nicer I guess, used shotties are usually cheap there.I'll reitarate, I think the Benelli Nova is better currently for quality. I have a Howa 1500 in .308, solid rifle that consistently shoots sub-MOA with factory match ammo. Varmint barrel however, so I wouldn't want to go traipsing through the woods with it.You'll get mixed answers. Depending on the ranges near you, they might have some pretty specific requirements if they are an indoor place. Some places require total metal jacket bullets to reduce lead, some don't allow 5.56 because it can damage the bullet trap, some places don't allow you to shoot quickly.a gun range, like the one in GTA5. I can't go into the boonies where I currently live.
i’ll call around and ask my local ranges, thank you for the informationDepending on the ranges near you, they might have some pretty specific requirements if they are an indoor place. So maybe find a range nearby, check the rules, and let that direct your purchase. You probably can't go wrong taking a PCC into a range, lots of ranges only want pistol caliber rounds anyway!
Ahh, the fun of buying a used gun and finding out that someone used a piece of nail instead of a pin in the trigger mechanism. Or buying a used Mosin to find out that the boomer fudd who installed the shit-ass optics rail on it drilled one of the holes right into the chamber and filled it with JB weld.Wait until you find out about stick welders, hose clamps, JB weld, and random screws or nails
In the motorcycle community those are usually referred to as DSPO - dipshit previous owner. Like the guy who rewired the tail lights on my bike, but it didn't work, so I wired it back to factory and it worked again.Ahh, the fun of buying a used gun and finding out that someone used a piece of nail instead of a pin in the trigger mechanism. That JB weld will just fireform into the tapped threads bro, it'l be fine!Ahh, the fun of buying a used gun and finding out that someone used a piece of nail instead of a pin in the trigger mechanism. I traded it to a gunsmith who wanted a try at welding it up. He insisted. Haven't seen how it turned out, but he said he was able to close the hole partially from the top. Supposedly shoots and extracts okay but I still wouldn't trust that thing with brass case. That JB weld will just fireform into the tapped threads bro, it'l be fine!
(probably not)
Doesn't that upper only take a special rimless 12GA?Well. This can only end poorly. View attachment 6695079
