Its still listed on their website. I see they have a 30DS too. That must be new. The 30DS and up also have the bonus of adjustable sights.

you'll almost certainly catch a lawsuit, since less-than-lethal is generally considered identical to actual live ammunition in terms of most law jurisdictions in the US. it's also more likely to leave a survivor and not as likely to stop a deadly, immediate threat.

i think they just use rubber ball now. also what if they just shoot you with their gun loaded with real bullets

sort of. there's a variety of them. wooden baton rounds are still used by military police in both 12ga and 40mm varieties. for civilian law enforcement rubber ball and rubber slug versions are the go-to today, usually made by Lightfield, Federal/CCI, or Kodiak and are also used for wildlife control (birds, deer, et c). they have a reduced powder charge than normal as well. actual "bean bag" which was burlap with wood or rubber pellets, or with sand has fallen out of use for inconsistent deployment and sometimes rupturing in certain shotgun actions, making a mess. the TASER shotgun round was too unreliable and very expensive for what they were.

these days it's more economical, safe, and effective to just use commercial paintball markers with pepperballs or a small quantity of CS gas inside the plastic shell. less likely to be mixed up with normal live-fire weapons, reasonably effective with repeat use, and much less lethal than prior tools. usually if rioters are showing up with shields or something is when police start optioning baton rounds since pepperballs don't do anything against any level of barrier that's thicker than a winter coat.
 
Got a pretty decently sized chunk of money from my company doing a merger, so I was looking at bits and pieces for building out my G26. I noticed that a slide I was looking at with a threaded barrel was suddenly gone off reebay, so I started looking up threaded barrels for random guns, including just the phrase "threaded barrel".
There are no listings for "Threaded barrel", nor are there full slides with threaded barrels showing up anymore.
I can see some barrels, all new postings within the past 24 hours, that are threaded, but don't mention anything about it and crop the image just enough to show that they do have threads.
The media was wigging shit about how the CEO shooter built a "ghost gun" with a 3d printed frame.
I wonder if feebay got the cold feet and removed all threaded barrel listings, like they did with any mag above 10rds.

Also in sad news, my favorite LGS for the last 6 years closed down. I loved it there.
But I did check out a local pawn shop to vet new FFLs, and there is one with a super cool knowledgeable guy and really decent prices. I found a longines pistol. Which is wild, I thought it was just watches.

I guess that's the case, which is a bummer. I prefer buying barrels straight from the source, if not a big box internet store(Brownells, GS, etc.) but eBay has some great listings on parts kits from time to time.

Why do you need a new slide for a G26? and why the threaded barrel on same? Isn't the point to have a little baby Glock? I used to have one of those but ditched it, as I didn't like the super short grip frame.

Same. My initial go to for a Glock barrel would be the Brownells house brand. Not that I like ordering from them in particular, they just have good barrels that aren't overpriced.

I like the G26 as a little nutsack Tuck gun. But threaded barrel and sup sights/RMR are neat and the idea of going out shooting with the homies with a drummed out suppressed little nerd glock tickles me in a particular way.
Sometimes you just wanna meme.

Generally speaking, even in your state, if you're gonna shoot somebody it's better to just kill someone than to injure them.
 
Opticsplanet has a good deal on Federal 45gn .22 ammo, I was able to score 2K for $9.99cpr AFTER shipping and tax with whatever code they have on the front page. Pretty good compared to any of the other 45gn offerings.

Having tried CCI suppressor 45gn it is actually quieter than CCI standard or any other standard/subsonic ammo I've tried, save for CCI quiets which sound the same as suppressor. I've got high hopes for the stuff as reviews say it's the quietest, but maybe not the best for semi autos. I imagine CCI suppressor and this stuff both use a faster burning powder than normal as to reduce overall gas volume.
