Anybody have any opinions on the Tisas 1911 Raider?

Context is when I was in my very early 20's I cobbled and bubba'd together a frankenstein-1911 from a bunch of spare parts using the used lower receiver /frame of a Para-Ordnance 14-45 I bought at an auction. It's been the only pistol I've owned for years and even saved my life from a pissed-off moose on one occasion- but it's really starting to show it's age/wear and tear after being concealed carried daily for a very long time- with rust and the bluing peeling off among scratches, jiggly front sights and other issues.

I still want to keep it out of sentimentality but I want something modern and affordable that still packs the whallop of .45 ACP- aka the Lord's Calibre. I heard apparently the USMC used the 1911 up until 2022 and their more modern versions of it were called the "MEU(SOC)"? The colt ones are waaay too expensive for my shoestring budget right now (cheapest ones on GunBroker are $2500 minimum) but apparently the Turks of all people have cooked up a reproduction of it called the "Tisas 1911 Raider" and it's as cheap as $600?

The HK 45 is about ~800 usd and by all accounts is a very well made and capable pistol.

You can never really be sure what you’re getting with a 1911. Although they are nice to shoot.

Kimbers are supposed to be good and you can get one for a lot less than 2500 made by actual americans

appropriately parameterized gunbroker search: https://www.gunbroker.com/Semi-Auto...Ch-manufacturerName=Kimber&Ch-Caliber=.45 ACP

Why would the 2 inch difference matter?
5.56 lives and dies on velocity.

Outside of an AR-15 it is pretty dumb not to use a 20" barrel, especially if you want the best terminal ballistics for hunting purposes. You lose way less with 18" vs 16". It's why the MK12 is 18" vs 16".

Ian also had a negative experience with the Repro Delisle shown at ShotShow:

It was a pretty disappointing ShotShow overall, unless you're into civilian nightvision or PSA novelty projects.

So sometimes I browse r/milsurp and recently people have posted pictures of rifles they bought from Royal Tiger Imports..........I cannot understand why people continue to give money to Uli Wiegand after obviously having Ian McCollum in his pocket and the fiasco with the IO AK's and blatantly lying to Rob Ski. Retards (I mean it is reddit lol) are turning themselves into niggers by spending a lot of money for guns cleaned and lubricated with camel shit.
and by chance I came across this video.

I've bought a few parts kits from RTI and they've always been fucked up. They always take upwards of a month to ship and when they do they're missing parts, have the wrong furniture or other broken bits. They also throw in old I.O branded accessories for free

The M1 subreddit is also occasionally getting posts of people going "GEY GUYS I WAS AT THE GUN STORE AND BOUGHT THIS $1700 GARAND AND NOW I'M READING UP ABOUT TIGER IMPORTS HOW SCREWED AM I"

People too lazy or retarded to use the CMP shall perish

I recently traded in a Romanian M44 and talked my buddies down on a Springfield M1, walked out the door for $850. Obviously guys will call BS on that, but for me that's the perk of knowing guys with an FFL.

always ask to see consignment or old stock that hasn't moved in a while or stuff like that. dead inventory is dead weight is money on the books occupying space i can put actual moving product. i blew out the Gen 3 LEO Glock 22's and 23's i had for $300 out the door with 2 mags just to get rid of them since i was running out of space and new stuff from Glock and Springfield were becoming hot items (P365 just got released) and i needed room for the new SIG stuff too. this can work for accessories like bushmaster-branded boresnake cleaning kits and some other stuff.

Tisas 1911
Allegedly their metal-framed handguns are of passable quality and can't be compared to the Canik that breaks down all the time. Springfield has been using Tisas receiver forgings for their own pistols.
Kimbers are supposed to be good
Supposed to be, but are not. They used to be boutique despite MIM parts and rusting on display but seemingly lowered production costs to get more product on shelves. I could only accept buying one in person and even then I'd replace the slide and half of the guts if only because I have shit lying around already. I'd sooner get an RIA or Springfield at that point.
