Save up a bit more and find yourself a pre-1970s pinned and recessed model. Much higher quality than the modern stuff.
I love them personally but for sure are better .44s being made currently for around the same costs as these.
pre-1988 Model 29's are not suited for .44 magnum cartridges and will go out of time quickly. the pins will shear in the frame, and the barrels had a life span of 5,000 rounds due to forcing cone erosion.
I don't know about the barrels but I've put 2000+ rounds through my 29-2 made in the 70s and it's alright. The cylinder is definitely not as tight as when I first got it. I have parts from Power Custom to resolve that later when necessary. If one wants a pinned and recessed pre-lock 29, I don't think they need to be so cautious as to not run magnum loads in them. Even if it's actually 5000 rounds before a barrel replacement is needed, trust me, that is a fuck ton of magnum rounds to shoot.
All kinda stuff about SxS shotguns
What are some opinions on who makes a good SxS 12 gauge these days?
definitely want to get into steel targets sometime soon.
Worth it. Not as expensive or hard to find as when I started accumulating them in '21.
Inert gas asphyxiation aka being put in a room full of nothing but nitrogen is the ideal method of execution
What about a huge dose of insulin? Cheap and I guarantee it'll work.

this lady was formative in sparking my interest in guns.
Like others have noted, I learned about the CZ 75 from her and goddamn am I a CZ fag now.
What's there to know about before buying a handheld shot timer?

I see them in videos and they're square and go beep sometimes, but don't know anything about brands, models etc.

Thanks.
Shooters Global. Either the second gen Timer or the Go are legit. Not cheap but worth every cent.

Had to travel abroad for a bit. Missed you all.

First off:
9mm "Bear Loads" lol, lmao even.

Of course a sigger would be scammed by such a thing, lmao.

Use Loctite next time, champ.
Oh lolz.
Shooting actual bears with a 9mm.
LMAO.
I thought it was as a video review of some old brown/silver bear steel case ammo at first glance.

Sig doubles down
One gripe not brought up enough about Sig's guns is their mag prices. Comparing Sig magazine prices to other major brands it's laughable. $45 for a standard capacity mag? How about you kill yourself Mr. Cohen. That's more than even H&K and Walther charge ffs.
Support the chamber on your high ass bore axis jeet gun Mr. Cohen. Don't let the sear slip due to tolerance stacking from jeet sourced parts. Add a glock style trigger safety. It's that easy.

That actually is crazy for such a prolific gun, I assume it's cause they are basically selling them at near cost and this is how they are making their money back.

I was morbidly curious about bears and now YouTube is recommending bear defense videos to me. Also it's a shame the M&P in 10mm seems to still have issues

Sig doubles down

Remember when the SIG Sauer brand meant something was high quality? LOL
People like to rag on Glock for making the same pistol over and over again, but at least it saves them the embarrassment of ever having to triple down on damage control like this.

I thought these were interesting, and might be appreciated here:

The idea that a manufacturer needs to put up p320truth.com is really that all needs to be said. The one thing a duty sidearm needs to be is reliable without question. The m9 can do it, glocks can do it. You don't have beretta and glock making truther websites. It's over for them when it comes to their name meaning quality. People STILL talk about the m9 frame cracking a couple times 30 years ago. Imagine how long this will live.
