Oh yeah, I forgot that M80 can run 147-150 grain bullets. My mistake. It definitely runs the gamut of consistency so don't get your hopes up for anything better than 2 MOA (IMI and Federal can do this sometimes). Have fun, shoot safely, that's all that matters.
when i first got into guns it took me a long time to figure out where exactly the line between bullshit and actual technical mumbo jumbo is and marketing is so heavy that it leads one to the impression that a gun is a gun and it's just gonna work because they figured out all the mumbo jumbo. so it takes quite a while to learn that there in fact is no mumbo jumbo and they literally just sell people lemons on a regular basis and this is just how the gun industry works, and like 80% or more of it is just aesthetic impulse buys based on lies and conjecture
to me the problem appears to be that sig isn't actually making the pistol to the level that they need it to be based on the level of marketing to police forces and security types but they can't admit any type of fault because paramilitary organizations don't tend to be very forgiving when it comes to organizational failures. Most people i know who carry don't carry loaded and to those people there isn't even a problem with the p320... but the whole ass gun industry is built around the people who carry COCKED AND LOCKED AT ALL TIMES

True. Politics move at a glacial pace (for better or for worse). Especially for gun stuff, its not about fighting and securing big wins, its about slowly moving the Overton window such that more and more things become acceptable in the mainstream.
You say the FRT and BBB changes are mostly meaningless, I dissagree. These things make, more or less, SBRs, supressors, and automatic fire (or close enough that mean voter wouldn't know the difference), more accessible to that mean voter.
The boomers on the range would probably be baffled to see a terrorist larper guy since only those people wear those things.

manual of arms compatibility with SDN and Mk13 that the USMC and Navy were already using and repeatable alignment/index. the large diameter on the MARS QD also lends itself better to a ratchet mount for consistency vs direct thread or the A2 mount which can fatigue with repeated attachments and removals during PMCS and not all A2's are perfectly indexed the same on all rifles and can be a little off here or there which has no bearing on a flash hider but has bigger problems with a suppressor. the A2 also varies pressure on the internal ratchet with how many rip-its the Marine has had that day. i prefer the A2 hub on carbines that have indexed A2's, but i've used the Rotex adapter successfully for years on rack rifles and pistols where i don't really need precision, but i do need consistency and i'm not cranking it on in a hurry or trying to get to the same index mark each time, since that will vary a little. personally i run KAC and older Sionics and AAC suppressors so the newer stuff i'm a bit limited on direct experience on fancy modern gear.
1. the locking collar ring on the KAC provides a cheap replaceable shoulder for the ratchet teeth if they wear out or get damaged and is field-replaceable. this is a feature that is rarely used but it means you don't have to send it back if you have ratchet problems like teeth engagement or a broken tooth.

Parent company is Olin Chemical that makes epoxy and chlorine feedstocks. Both of those divisions are also in the toilet due to “East Asian” (Chinese) counties bringing a bunch of capacity online and dumping in western markets.
From their earnings reports the biggest thing keeping them going is military and government sales IE operating Lake City. They are in a better position then most of the ammo companies though which is why we are seen consolidation going on.
I'm half and half, thinking about that. Have the reports on bad ammo ceased or is it still a gamble? They didn't even start on 5.45 yet so if they do go the way of the do-do I don' t think it's a huge loss.
