Seeing as how gender dysphoria was once officially a mental illness until the faggot activists got the head shrinkers to stop because being accurate about it was "cruel" and "stigmatizing". I support this. Troons and pooners should not have access to firearms the same way schizophrenics shouldn't.
I israeli carry and people chew me out on it but I was wondering if maybe carrying with a blank in the chamber is a fair compromise? that way you don't have to rack it but if it misfires it poses no threat
I assume by "misfire" you mean accidentally goes off? That would be a negligent discharge. A misfire is when you pull the trigger and the round doesn't go off.
If you have a decent quality pistol and you're doing things the way you're supposed to (i.e. keeping your booger hook off the bang switch unless you're certain you have to fire) then you shouldn't worry about an "accidental" discharge. I've been carrying for years both for personal protection and for work, always with a round in the chamber and ready to fire as soon as I draw the weapon, and I've never had a negligent or accidental discharge. Israeli carry is generally a terrible idea. If you do find yourself in a life or death situation with a genuine threat, you're losing valuable time trying to cycle the slide and chamber a round. It may not seem like a lot of time, but it's an eternity in a life or death situation. You're also introducing an unnecessary failure point by trying to fumble with the slide under extreme stress. There is a reason the vast majority of police agencies and every credible self defense shooting school operates with a round chambered. You do what you want, but I think you'll find most people here who know firearms and self defense shooting will recommend against Israeli carry.
Edit: regarding the blank, that's also a shit idea. It's similar to warning shots. If you're needing to bring a weapon out then it needs to warrant killing something. If you're not completely certain your life is in imminent danger, then that weapon stays holstered.
