Are semi automatic versions of the Uzi, Mac 10/11 even worth it? I think most uzis are $2k+ which I think is high
Yes.

January is a coming!!!

I don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.
I'm begging you, even if you don't really like it all that much please don't sell it. I'd like one eventually but the 700+ dollar price that I generally see makes my stomach turn. Maintain it and pass it on to your own kid or niece/nephew. That being said if you want a new every day carry you cannot go wrong with a glock 19, M&P shield, or a CZ75 like other posters have mentioned. Just up to you depending on your price range and what you think looks the coolest

Why shouldn't I sell it?

Its a cool firearm that they don't make anymore that will never get any cheaper.
What are you smoking? Beretta still makes regular 92FS models and they still sell for $700 every day of the week. They don't show any sign of completely discontinuing them any time soon.

See I'd hold onto an Italian-made 92FS since Beretta is leaning more heavily on Beretta USA for pistols and there's a lot of posts of caked-on finishes and uneven optics cuts.

is there any word on a flux kit for the rxm? i read that they're workin on it but that's about it.

My Hi-Power doesn't have a positive enough safety that I feel alright carrying it cocked and locked IWB, I'm eventually getting a spring/detent upgrade. It also has a very slim grip profile and similarly I'll be getting the Pachmayr wraparound grip.
The Glock and M&P are default choices and neither are the wrong answer.

Any H&K should also be considered. Walther's 9x19 pistols are good as well. Go shopping, fingerfuck guns and take note of which ones you like. The usual.

I personally don't care for striker fired pistols. Always preferred an external hammer. But if I were to get a striker fired pistol it would definitely be one of the Walthers, especially the ones with the metal frame instead of polymer. It's the only striker fired pistol I actually like a lot. The rest are just very underwhelming for me, even the HK VP9. I'd rather have a P30 over the VP9. I'm not saying they are bad guns, I'm only saying they aren't for me.

I have a cobray MAC11 that is very dependent on magazine or it wont feed/stovepipe. I bought mine years ago for around $500 and I'd say it was worth it. I can't speak on the masterpiece arms MACs though but for $680 it might be good, they have a 5.7 version too

For an UZI you don't have many options besides doing a kit build yourself or paying 2k for a ban era Norinco or whatever. With the MAC 10/11 you have a few more options at a much lower price point. Masterpiece arms currently sells a couple different models. All of them have 1913 rails and polymer lowers, some of which are Glock mag compatible. You can find them in pawn shops for $300 ish or $600 MRSP online. If the polymer lower is bothersome you can swap it out for a Velocity systems (VMAC) lower provided you know how to weld. It will look more correct with the metal side plates and it allows you to use sten mags as opposed to the promag style.

The Velocity systems website is currently down but you can get their parts on Gunbroker for $40

Well designed, could be carried with a round in the chamber for instant operation, and likely didn't print in a way that implied CC. Still, probably didn't justify the additional price and complexity over just carrying a normal subcompact.

I saw one of these for sale at a brick & mortar gun shop years ago. It's one of the dumbest fucking things ever made.

Ironically the greatest advantage is that it's permissible in a BUG gun match, as seen in the clip. Shame that wasn't part of the marketing, I think.

Fuck no. Uzis and Macs were always pieces of shit that gained a fandom because of Hollywood. Get a CZ Scorpion Evo 3 or HK SP5 for that money.

What's your opinion on a Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm?

Nevada Boomer reviews a budget Swock:
Looks well made, I was surprised Smith & Wesson competes this aggressively in the cheap poly 9mm pistol market.
S&W autos are usually pretty good options. too many sleep on the SD pistols, and while it earned a lawsuit, they weren't bad guns really. the older all-metal semi-autos are very nice, and the later M&P autos are also very nice.
