Long story short I have the chance to pick up a P365 Xmacro Off Duty for an absolute steal (450USD w/ optic). Has there ever been a documented case of the 365 models going off?

not to my knowledge. the 365 is a complete different design internally. they have had problems with parts breakage though. MAC had one that famously broke on its first range trip.

The only notable problem is with a dead or shake-awake trigger due to a spring breaking, it will not fire unintentionally. As mentioned above some people have experienced the trigger spring breaking on the first range trip or during pistol classes or not at all.

No, the main reported problems with the 365 are rust prone surface finishes and parts breakages like the trigger return spring, which point to bad QC by Sig rather than a fundamentally flawed design.

same as I'm excited for the Lima Six belt fed AR conversion but that's gonna be $3000
Only for the complete upper, Build kits are $2k (then again you have to spend more money actually finishing out the build kit but at least then you can decide exactly what you want to use with it).

Alright, I've got a boner.
Someone make this car a reality.
I regret to inform you that Ford already did. 20 years ago. It sucked.

I finally shot a buddies TX22 FRT and I hate I didn't buy when cheaper. "IT'S NOT PRACTICAL" and I'm not gay, IDGAF, it ruled. I love my super safe PCC and AR, but fuuuuuuuuuck that little 22 just blazing like a warthog? Peak giggles.
I found one of those at a local pawn shop today and got it. Now I'm waiting on the FRT connector thing to ship.

Does anyone have any experience using .357 SIG conversion barrels in M&P 40s? I'm waiting on a 9mm barrel for mine but have been eyeing the .357 as well. I know it's impractical (and expensive to shoot) but it sounds fun + it will blow everyone in my house's eardrums out if it shoot it inside.

Plus, any Auto 5 appreciators? I'm cleaning up my Model 11 Sportsman to get it ready for deer season (potentially). Have a friend working on printing a new durable buttplate and piece of hard wood filling for it since whichever retard owned it in the past drilled a big chunk out of the stock.

my ARV has the 10oz with tungston weight in the BCG (must be cut properly), both from KAK, Very smooth shooter.

I also have the MAXUM RDB buffer in another (DOE, so same as your 635, the buffer was too light) and that is interesting (you need to remove the weight from the BCG).

Worthwhile to do some reading on https://blowback9.wordpress.com/
Truly a compendium of everything you need to know, IIRC your Buffer and BCG should be about 22-24oz in weight, I think mine is like 21 and I get a hiccup every couple hundred rounds with cheap ammo but both run super well.
Just weighed mine and BCG+buffer is 19.5oz after cutting the BCG to make room for the ss. Will probably pickup a 10z buffer to bring it up to 24oz as I run mine suppressed.

I love my humpback. I’ve got a woodsman and one that at some point in its life had the barrel chopped to exactly 18.5”.

It's still made by modern SIG SAAR, so I would personally pass on it and put that money towards something known to be high quality from a company that actually cares about it's customers and reputation.

Auto 5s are expensive now. I have an 11-48, I only use it for shooting clays, it definitely could use a nice soft pad.

Pretty much anything you shoot inside is going to cause you and anyone nearby permanent hearing damage, it's one of many reasons to hope you never have to. I know one person who ND'd his service weapon in his house, and he went from normal hearing to "that guy is probably gonna need hearing aids". Keep some earmuffs next to your gun and hope you have time to grab them.

I'm honestly surprised more veterans aren't hard of hearing, my WW2 vet grandfather was.

I love and hate this thing.

Its so cool to look at and so unfun to shoot.

I like how there's little holes in the grip to hold your takedown pins when you field strip it.
H&K did that with the roller locked guns.
But I can actually afford the KelTec.

If I ever decide I want to shoot mine again, I am going to replace the grip on the pump before I do.

Besides the stiff recoil and thumb-slamming action, its pretty cool.
