Most uncomfortable shotgun I've ever shot was a late model fixed stock SPAS-12 I used to own. Even in semi-auto with low brass target loads, it was not fun to shoot. But in pump mode with high brass buckshot or slugs? It was abusive. And I'm not in any way recoil shy. I don't know why that SPAS-12 was so abusive, but it was way worse than shooting 3 1/2" magnum loads in a normal pump gun like a Mossberg 500 or Rem 870.

Sharing a safety warning I had posted to the IRTV Reddit that has since been deleted.

This occurred last fall.

—————

I feel the need to share this as a safety warning to others in the community.

I experienced an uncommanded firing with the Timney in my RXM.

Components used: Icarus Aluminum frame Cerakoted Flat Dark Earth KKM Match barrel Timney Alpha Competition trigger.

Approximately 300 rounds into using this unit the following occurred.

I intentionally pulled the trigger aiming at a target The pistol did not fire

I removed my finger from the trigger and observed the trigger was held to the rear as if the striker had been dropped.

Keeping the pistol down range I began to touch the slide to cycle it with my finger off the trigger

As soon as my hand touched the slide the pistol fired.

Fortunately no injury or property damage occurred.

I ceased using that pistol for the day. Dry testing it afterwards the dead trigger problem could be replicated roughly 1/10 slide cycles.

Upon disassembly no excessive fouling or debris were present in the fire control area.

I have since reinstalled the factory trigger.

I emailed Timney and they offered to have me bring them the whole gun for inspection. I haven’t taken them up on that because no matter what I’m not interested in using it again.

Why were you posting in the Reddit sub of a cum-drinking Satanist cuck?

You also have a different frame and barrel. You've almost changed the whole gun.

The barrel can’t possibly have an effect on the trigger.

The frame might, which is why I noted it in my write up, and to Timney.

The pistol functions properly with the factory trigger and any combination of grip grip I’ve used with it.

These guns are deliberately modular from the factory as a selling point. People are expected to change out the grip modules.

Was the entire subreddit was deleted, or just your post about this issue? If it’s the latter, that’s kind of messed up.

I left IRTV and resigned as brutality matches director at the end of November.

Since then dozens of my posts from the last 2-3 year were deleted from the sub Reddit and a number of videos of me have been deleted from the channel. I did not request any of this.

Karl the Cuck is at it again.

He's SEETHING Ian and the Finns cut all ties with him

What do you guys think would be a good 30 cal suppressor host? I'm thinking a 300blk bolt like the Ruger ranch 2.
The Black Collar Arms Pork Sword. A real knee-slapper of a name and insultingly expensive. In other words, perfect for .300 BLK.
The steel frame is 100% for USPSA gamers though
And gayboi M&P fans who definitely don't need one but will likely buy one
The Savage 110 has the bolt on the left
Fucking why?

but did you like the icarus grip?

Thanks for the PSA regarding the RXM. The problem with all of this modularity and aftermarket parts is having unforeseen consequences. I remember seeing a video recently of a modified Glock that would fire if you aggressively inserted a mec gar metal Glock mag into it.
