All of them, at the moment. Life got pushed into high gear and I'm lucky to get range time with my carry piece.

I suppose the function of the cutter is to smooth out the weld spots so they don't snag when the mag is inserted. Can't figure what's the point of the solid inserts and hammering afterwards though.

Just for fun next time you are at the range load a magazine insert it as normal and obviously with barrel down range, invert the AR so the mag is pointing up the sky, upside down. Then ride the bolt forward by hand slowly stripping a round as you are trying to seat the cartridge as normal just extremely slowly. Try this with a flat nosed or JHP mag with 1 round mag and with full 30.

once again: Mag to the sky, charging handle back and ride closed at 2 miles an hour till she closes the breach. Let us know what happens just for fun. Not having enough inertia to fully lock I wouldn't consider failure for this "test". Even the standard 5.56 ARs suffer this with 29 rounds pressing on the carrier. I just want to know if the 9mm cartridge flops up or spins and causes a FTF.

IMO I would go colt mags with the CMMG, but I've mentioned before I just don't like the look/feel of glock sticks.
This is probably because I have an Glock AR9 lower that has left a bad taste in my mouth (TNArms CO)

Yes, they look SO much better magazine forward. I made my choice I wanted the RDB system. The guy who built that particular AR9 obviously had a machinist background and all machinists retired or employed have a natural engineering/gunsmithing education they develop. He obviously was more skilled and more determined (And WAY more fucking free time) than than the average guy. His project came out beautifully.

What was the issue(s) with the TN arms?

Fly cutters are some of the earliest forms of cutting tools. It’s basically a spinning knife for metal.
 
Took a quick range trip today to check if there was any POI shift on my .22 rifles with a can screwed on the end and just plink around. The B22 has a little, but the 10/22 didn't give a shit, while my MkIV sounded like a staplegun at an outdoor range. Also ran my P365XL with the Flow 9K and 147gr in it for giggles.

Ended up digging into my range bag for all sorts of shit throughout the session:

One guy was using plain ass earbuds as hearing protection, so he got some of the foam plugs I keep for that.

Another guy was bleeding from wrapping his weak side thumb over the strong side wrist and getting bit by his gun's slide so I passed over a BZK wipe and bandaid and showed him why it happened and a proper thumbs-forward grip.

Yet another lane was a couple of guys running a .38 revolver inherited from their grandfather that had apparently sat around uncleaned for the better part of a decade - fired cases were getting stuck hard in the cylinder. Knocked out the cases with a cleaning rod, showed them the carbon rings that were causing them to stick and loaned them my 9mm boresnake to scrub out the cylinder and some oil and everything was good to go.

Also loaned out my AR front sight tool since it seems nobody else keeps one handy as well as my multi tool so people could adjust their optics.

It turns out that I mostly keep all the stuff I've got crammed in the bag for other people to use, lol.

Also, everyone should have something like this in their range bag. Yeah, it's chinesium, but it's super handy to have around.

I already have pretty much everything I actually need, so I don't mind the idea of buying something I take to the range a handful of times every year and maybe carry on occasion if I want.

My fingers are crossed I haven't shot my 5.45 gun in so long :( My very first stamp. A real OG style krink, off a Waffen Works AK. I got it because it was badass in goldeneye (funny enough it's not in the game)

I'm in the middle of making proper shaken margaritas for myself and the neighbors while we all hang out in the garage and shoot the shit. Also a great way to spend a lazy evening.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I don't need another carry gun, but I've been itching to own a revolver for carry again. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm only going to buy things because they caught my interest due to being unique or historically interesting. I've got a beat up old Ruger Super Blackhawk that was my dad's. After I get the Colt I'm saving up for I'm going to save up the money to send dad's gun to get restored and customized into something I know he would have been proud to own. He always fancied it a bit of a bear gun, so I'm going to have it rechambered from .44 Mag to a known bear stopper round, like .454 Casull or .475 Linebaugh. Probably .475 Linebaugh since it's a pretty fuck-off big cartridge, and it can also chamber .480 Ruger for something a little less punishing. Being that it's going to be kind of a tribute gun to my departed pop, and I'm probably going to have it chambered for something pretty spendy to shoot, I don't plan on shooting it often. I plan on having Gary Reeder do the custom work on it, and he's renowned for his custom work on Rugers. Since I'm kinda going for a "bear defense" build on it, I'm probably going to keep the barrel under 6" total. Probably going for 4" or 5", plus an extra inch for the muzzle brake I'm probably going to have Reeder add to it to help tame recoil with those big pills it'll be spitting. I could go completely nuts and have it chambered for .500 Linebaugh, but with .475 Linebaugh it'll also chamber .480 Ruger (basically .475 Linebaugh Special), or with .454 Casull it can also chamber .45 Colt. So I'll have more options for ammo availability, and an option for a lighter recoiling cartridge, like .38/.44 Special to .357/.44 Magnum.

somehow they are still in business
although they only seem to have AR10s....
(they are the ones who make clear lowers, they don't offer a warranty on those due to the plastic being weaker. )

It's just bottom of the barrel quality, the magazine can be ripped out with only a little extra force, I think it's 3d printed plastic (or some form of injection molding).
It's workable, but pretty junky. I bought it before there were much better options, but now I wouldn't even think about it.

My friend is actually trying to sell me is BRT build he made. I want it but I spent a lot on guns recently... (the lima6 is working, and the ammo bills keep hitting)
This seems like one of the best gucci use cases for a RDB system, though my friend is a lefty and still complains about the gas.
When he was getting it running he had issues with the endo mags I thing? He switched to the CMMG and I haven't heard anything, but he also doesn't shoot much.

Do not use the new CMMG gen 2 mags, they're have feeding issues. Also not recommended for Glock style lowers. I recommend standard lowers with the Ejectorless Endomag inserts for PMags. Please allow 8 weeks lead time.

also since we are talking about the "hang time" bullets have. I forget where I saw it but someone once said
"the space between the magazine in the chamber is where the bullet talks to god"

I don't feel as bad tbh there was a time when you could buy the best slav shit 7.62x39 for 3 dollars a box of 20. I still have a good amount of it left that I will be shooting through my draco :^)

Now that we can upload videos would you guys be interested in doing autistic gun content or we just a picture kinda thread?

We could upload videos the entire time, some people have been posting range footage once in a while but there's always the worry of pissing off weirdos who will use the type of grass in your media to triangulate your position because you negrated one of their posts.
