Ever since playing MGS 3 I really want to get a patriot, the only tough part will be finding a drum magazine that's feed system is in the shape of an infinity symbol so that way it will have infinite ammo forever

Its a different gas system. 1301 uses BLINK which shoots "36% faster" and "4 shots in <1 second". As if you're going to out run the gun. Its also has the pro shell lifter which I think is supposed to stop finger pinches. But you can buy this separately and add it to the A300.

I dont know if the A300 does this, but you can just confetti out all your shells by holding the bolt back and lifting up on the button/tab:

Upon further research it all makes sense. Very nice shotgun by all accounts and probably what I'll end up buying, but it's clearly the inferior tactical shotgun gun. The 1301 was built from the ground up for the job, like the M4, so it sets a really high bar.

A300 is perfectly adequate for my needs I think.

Goddammit. I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm. Comes with like a fifteen round mag or something.

When it arrives at my FFL, they'll take the mag because Maryland has a mag limit.

Except the mag limit is only for purchases or transfers. Ownership and bringing them into the state as an individual is totally legal. They simply can't change hands in the state.

So idk, next time nation's gun show (or its successor, I think it moved from out near Dulles to Mannasas or some shit) is in town, I'll go down to VA, buy the exact same fucking thing and legally bring it in.

I know this happens. I just hate how fucking retarded this dance is.

Just go down to WV. VA is getting gay.

Just bought a p30 on clearance from a closing gun shop. I bought it as my first 9mm so I can get into USPSA. Am I fucked?
I have a P30L(S). They're a good pistol series from HK. I'm going to assume its a V3 trigger; does it have a safety? If it has a safety, you can just use it cocked and locked and fire it in SA wheres it pretty smooth but the only disadvantage is the trigger travel distance is a lot and so it feels sloppy until you hit the wall. If it doesn't have a safety, that DA is 11.5 to 12 pounds and can be frustrating on the first shot, so dry fire a lot and then practice drawing and firing to get an accurate first shot followed up with a quick SA shot. You can go to Gray Guns and buy a new trigger and short reset package. You can also find LEM module kits online and try to go for a V1 or V4 trigger if you tinker with it.

If you want an optic, send it to Wright Armory and it will take them around four months for the cut. Langdon Tactical isn't as good based on some online posts but you do you.

Zenitco is now offering a modernized version of the RP-46 belt feed adapters for DP/DPM machineguns. They are selling it alongside a replacement recoil booster to increase back pressure to enable more reliable and consistent cycling due to the added energy requirements of a belt fed mechanism without having to change the gas system like on a real RP-46. Interestingly, American reproductions of the RP-46 feed mechanism used a similar system. Both Russians and hohols use DP/DPM's for anti drone use, but their pan magazines are a pain in the ass

A company called CNC Guns is also offering a RP series feed system but without a pic rail or gas boosting muzzle device

Seems to be somewhat reliable even without

Get some Mecgar 18 round magazines if you're gonna travel out of state to buy mags.

Features/Specs
-"BB-62" Reinforced bolt (this suggests to me modified bolt lugs, an oversized bolt or both)
-11.5in GNB-200 barrel (Super Steel developed in cooperation with Carpenter)
-"GZX" Rifling (licensed PXT?)
-Tri-port Phased Array gas system (I've heard it described like a water can spout, lessening intensity but keeping flow the same)
-28 1/4in collapsed, 31 1/2 in extended
-6.6lbs
-Riveted in steel cam track
-"Enhanced BCG"
-Rail is designated MK-24
-Custom Gas system length
-5/8x24 muzzle thread (The SOLGW MK-1 also does this, something about accuracy)
-Custom Buffer (wonder if it's just custom mass or they've shortened it with a steel body or something to increase stroke length, but that would require a non standard gas key)

This legitimately seems suspiciously perfect. What accounts for the attractive price? I can't find a thing wrong with it on paper.

As someone that owns a 1301 and absolutely loves it, just buy an A300. It does pretty much everything the 1301 does and you won't notice the difference, plus you get the spend the difference in ammo to blast. However, if you do want to get a 1301 I will say it is the absolute bees knees, best semi-auto shotgun I have ever owned, I adore it.

I hope it ends up in a museum, love the Type 11, such a unique LMG.
