Will be exciting to have a modern port of MGS4 with mods and all. Very disappointing they didn't bring back the multiplayer. Konami is a huge company and the game is already made, why the hell can't they? Server costs? Bullshit.

I cry for Portable Ops.

Lmao, porting MGS4 was probably a nightmare and a half in and of itself, i can see them axing the online in favor of being able to actually release the damn thing

I don't know nearly enough about programming to understand why the PS3 was so awkward, but after almost 20 years it still isn't easy to port from PS3? That's insane. Will it ever become easy at this rate?

Because the PS3 had unique architecture. For comparison, the PS4 and PS5 use more conventional architecture. That's why PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3. Well, that and greed. They want to be able to sell you the same games again and again.

I just saw the comparisons and as is customary all the camera effects and color grading in MGS4 bit the dust. It now looks as gray and bland as any modern release.

Original hardware chads stay winning. Anybody know what studio is responsible?
 
Great to be see MGS4 coming to PC and not to be a pessimistic doomer faggot (because no one likes those people.), but I expect it to be an okay port like Vol 1 mostly was and fans/modders will pick up the slack like they did with MGSM2Fix and MGSHDFIX.

Not having to use emulators anymore and mod support is going to be great, but it'll probably be worthwhile 1-2 years after launch at a reduced price.

I'll be sure to nab a free copy on release.

I'm like the one guy that unironically liked rose.

Edit: was Legitimately disappointed Raiden didn't reference or interact much with the family in revengence. Although I suppose the alternative was them dying or something stupid.
 
What was consensus on delta? Worth playing over original which I played on ps2? I was thinking about replaying all 3 before the vol 2 release.
