it's more of a degree of relevance, not because they are silent but more because they are your gateway to interact with the world, hence them not mattering, you will kill whoever is a threat to the galaxy, you will kick wily's ass again and again and that's what makes these games fun.

then comes in the retarded need for more storytelling because we stopped bullying theaterkids and we have retarded shit like Other M or Megaman Zero where the universe you were a part of becomes irrelevant to focus more on the main character and their animeshit arc about the repressed power within or the power of fwiendship.

No, samus takes off the power armor even if you aren't a speedrunner. The outfit just changes depending on speed. Also "up until fusion?" You do realize prime came out before fusion and literally shows samus' face IN the visor yeah? Also literally all the promotional art for the games after the first one that show her without her helmet on or that diagram of how the suit works I edited in to specifically point out how she's not even the kind of thing the other person kept framing her like?

the good part in NES metroid was fiddling about save codes and hitting the naked samus one, the visor one is from SNES briefing about the station you get tutorial boss ridley, correct?

My only copeium is that their is no way he can be with you the entire game, it would just be to hard to program a human companion traversing in a metroid world. Then again he could be a man in the chair deal who constantly talks to you on the radio at which point my 18 year wait was for nothing.

I was talking about how in prime you always have the slight reflection in the visor and the opening shot when you come out of the ship you can see samus' face through the visor before it goes into first person, but yeah there's other visor shots before that.

Her canonical height is actually pretty tall, but there are characters that are shown taller a lot of the time. Other M was an infamous example though because people's general opinion was she was depicted way too short in it compared to other Metroid games. Like literally every human NPC in the game is taller than her for some reason.

EDIT: 6'3. So tall, but not like freakishly tall for a human.

I think the best way to describe Samus is stoic. That's very much a result of a simple voiceless action hero but even after they had tech to give her more character she stayed that way (ignoring other m, as everyone should). Just look at the cutscenes in dread.
If seeing any sort of stoic women instantly makes you say "uwu super dommy mommy please step on me" that's a you issue. Hell the gba era end screens of her relax post mission seem the opposite of what ever the fuck "dommy mommy" means.
