Lmao, the second I put Druid in A tier I get the fucking Birdemic event which spawns hostile birds in every room and makes his crow turn on you. Made my first Lab run a nightmare.

As someone who's used Necro a bit, the benefit is that its a (somewhat gimmicky) tank. Between leech and all the summons, a lot of enemies will have trouble actually dealing damage. You can spec towards downed builds, but that's gimmicky and requires certain abilities (although I guess a fine backup plan). The summons add to the tankiness, since they do kinda pitiful damage. You do get some damage abilities if you prefer DPS, but its definitely requires certain skills.

Also I got the Kamikaze druid. Can summon a squirrel to each adjacent spot, give them +4 dmg +4 move, and then they have self-destruct. Killed Gambit turn 1.

Exact abilities are Form of the Squirrel + Summon Squirrel for backup, then Suicide Squad and Sneak Attack. I'm gonna be sad when I somehow lose the run
 
I have yet to leave Act I due to a bunch of side quests, and I'm really pissed that I keep getting cool builds on my fucking fodder runs.

You assholes were supposed to suck, damn it! I was supposed to toss all of you down the sewer pipes once you were done! Why'd you have to be so good??

Note: Adik is gay. He also sounds strikingly similar to an aged wizard stereotype.
He was a stray, but has joined the ever-growing ranks of gay cats in my house. It is actually getting to be a giant problem. It's like 70% guys now and all they want to do is fuck. The single female (who isn't a kitten) turned out to be lesbian. My only hope lies in gender-neutral strays that, half the time, also end up being gay. Send help.

Also found out about the Mr. Resetti clone after having the enormous misfortune of running into an Elite Daddy Shark. An Elite Daddy Shark with a Lucky bonus. And two baby sharks by its side.

No regrets, would savescum again.

Don't be afraid of using spells/abilities that say "this will have permanent consequences for using it"

AFAIK, it only gives you a random negative passive, but those can actually benefit you. Plus you can just reroll them by using the spell since you're limited to 2.

Best synergy I found was depression (-2 all stat down for adjacent units) on a fighter with counter. Best part is that depression can be cleansed by the cleric each battle while also maintaining the -2 all stat down for other units.

i hope i'm wrong and necromancer is cool but i swear the past three times i've tried the class i've gone from "deal no damage" to "deal no damage, but now you can spawn something that will die from and deal no damage and also here's a no damage bullshit item and maybe if you're a little rotten soldier that teamkills with it you get a stat up for the rest of your turn." i'm also getting annoyed because for the past two weeks in game like every cat gets this fucking retard mutation for higher int and lower damage on everything. i'm fucking sick of mages. i'm over it. guillotina is coming back with a loose head and i've got frigging F troop on standby. maybe i just suck!?

  • Stray fight club (currently depopulated) and random anti-inbreeding zone for occasional kittens with 7 genes I still need
  • Stimulation fuckatorium for best cats, incest additions I want to propagate skills/mutations from, and aforementioned stray kittens

Gays will still breed with hermaphrodites. Bisexuals too obviously but I can't tell the difference between other pride flags so I just blender them all.

Build em with a buddy. A ranger with Last Hit or a Cleric with that passive that does a shitload of damage to enemies when they kill things can get a lot of value from a Necromancer who didn't roll Reap and is not otherwise doing shit. If you have both on the party there's a decent chance it'll be useful.
I haven't had any luck getting a "likes being dead" one to roll out but it seems fun. If you've done the brainwasher sidequest you know how powerful letting shit kill you to gain a permanent ally would be. Totally fucking useless against house bosses though obviously.
Another cool strategy is to give up and not use them until you have a stockpile of Fuzzy Dice.
 
Fucking hell, I heard everyone talking about how the Bunker was brutal but for my first run the Crater was horrible.
Swear you need to focus on having more passives than actual spells, or at the very least VERY strong basic attacks because there are some thorn faggots that punish you for using spells and all my encounters had like 3 all the way to a whole fucking ROOM of them and nothing but them. It was also the first time one of my cats didn't return home in any one of my runs so far. Beanlos used Forbidden Frost one too many times, she was used up...
 
I do hope with future dlc we get more classes or maybe even the ability to multiclass.

A paladin or Bard would be fun, I'm imagining a cat with Divine Smite, his main damage stat as luck where he walks up and crits something for a shit ton of damage.

Warlocks would be rad too

Edmund has stated outright that the breeding system was the main way to multiclass
