Do you think God stays in Heaven for fear of what he's created?

I thought I had a dud tinkerer, because it was somehow a ranged medic as a perk. But it rolled the mech suit.

So it's looking marginally better.

Ok so here's a good tip, if you cat has blood frenzy or any of those debuffs that takes control over your cat spam the end battle buttom, you still have access to it when AI controlled and it stops the cat right on its track, he can still do its basic attack but it would be less atrocious that if you let him cast everything.

Hey, does anybody know what exactly magic damage is? Even the wiki can't really put it into words and it's bothering me greatly. I've got lots of magic-increasing spells and items that I don't know what to do with because I refuse to run Mage again (I've had like 11 mages and only 2 of them have ever been anything more than dead weight). Is it just damage dealt by spells? Is it specifically ranged damage dealt by spells? I know Mages have their basic attack affected by magic-up stuff, but I don't know if that'd also apply to something like a Necromancer and/or Druid. I can't really find out, either, because my guys tend to stack multipliers until the damage numbers on their actual spell buttons don't mean anything without proper context. The closest I've gotten to figuring this out is having the extremely rare "Magic Weakness" debuff applied to a few enemies and experimenting with what did and did not crit on them. (And I've never gotten that debuff with a Necromancer or Druid in the party, only a bunch of physical fighters...)
Not sure if anyone's mentioned yet, but certain items/weapons count as magic damage, too. I know Technology does because I ran a magic buffer + weapons master with it and had a pretty good time.

In my save rn, opening up the... I don't know what it is, yet, but it's having me bring items to the end of Act I areas. Ended up rolling this absolutely insane cat that could literally one-shot entire rounds from full health. For anything she couldn't, I had my necro cast soul link on and that took quick are of it. If I knew she'd be this broken I would've brought this team to try and clear Act II for the first time.

I blame the fact the leech quest item made my cleric never level up, so both my DPS got to like lv10-15. Tina 3 is approaching rn, and she has no fucking clue what is about to hit her.

Looks like a new update is going down the pipeline, and it's set to fix the alt+f4 shop duping bug. RIP.

On the flipside, Arthur is getting some moves banned from his Metronome list (Split the Atom, We Are One, Become Entropy, and other versions of Metronome), and solo cat runs will count as full mono-class party runs.

K we're back, slowly making progress. I was in a slump before, barely able to cross the desert unscathed. Now I finished the bunker and almost finished the crater (Got killed by the final boss but first try, I was ignorant with game speed and the side shots). Feels good, this game is basically just spouts of anger and seethe followed by feels good.
Although I will say, the desert minibosses, especially the fucking healer bitch and the necro, are fucking annoying and should be killdozered.
Also I got "Now go out and zap to the extreme" at the starting of one of my runs, was very funny.
Also Also, I just discovered that Ctrl and RMB can be used for tactical views, it wouldve made my runs a tiny bit easier.
Now I should find some way to open the throbbing domain, thats going to be a fucking nightmare.

Edit: And Ive lost 3 runs worth of cats to the Desert minibosses, fml

Act 3 run going amazingly, then my Fighter gets Blood Frenzy from an event immediately before the final boss. This is the single most frustrating thing in the game for how often it happens and how little you can do about it

Aside from the meteorites and furniture boxes (and I assume whatever act 3 has that's analogous, haven't had time to play much this week and still cleaning up act 2 stuff) is there any way to increase the rarity of your item drops, or do you just get better item drops on later acts?

If anything reading that bit about the bow (which I don't really consider a spoiler; of course that's gonna be the final boss. it's an ed mcmillen game) made me realize how much this game likes to throw stuff at you early on that you really, REALLY should save for later acts. Wish I'd saved the persuader for some of these irritating-ass quest runs.

doing 1 round wins give you a better chance for better items and don't forget P-mart.

Does luck affect what events you get?
Tyler Gaylel explained it like this

5 luck is neutral. Each point of luck is a 10% for an "extra roll, pick the best" (or pick the worse, for luck below 5) when rolling something that uses luck
Higher luck equals more dice rolls -> best dice is picked

As for finishing on Round 1, you get Luck 10 which means you have a better chance to get a good item for ex. Infamy Mask.

As to farming Items, if you got kittens with Mini-Me and trinkets to increase bird spawn rates, you effectively have 2 or more guaranteed birds to kill.

They rated him autistic because he told the truth.

So in other words high or low luck doesn't affect pool of events you come across during an adventure.
