if you get lab and get for some fucking reason a combo weather event of hurricane (blow all units 10 directions end of every round) and windy (blow all units a tile end of every round) just fuckin don't lmao. or DO NOT attempt the hard path with that shit. definitely pay attention to all wind events there, it fucks with all the glass containers. i don't know whether to call it the most miserable experience i've had yet or fun

Man i fucking hate this game, i finally have a cat with 5 7's in its stats and no matter what i do they dont fuck, neither are gay and neither are enemies so what the fuck? the -14 confort room has produced more cats that the 20 confort one what the fuck is going on? is there a way to stop having the cats i dont want from fucking? im about to throw everyone but those two until they produce a cat that doesnt suck.

I swear this shit is programmed to make you mad.

Edit: ok so charisma aparently affects breeding, you just have to wife up your ugly cats and they will mate no issues, i guess it makes sense, wish the game told me about that, time to get my ugly cats into the healer trad wife grift and- OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?

The charisma thing helped tremendously, the ugly cat that nobody wanted now is nonstop producing uberkots, you just have to looksmaxx bros

The baby looks kind of goofy but is the best offspring i ever had in this game.

Okay, I'm 123 hours in and I'm starting to crack. The plot seems to have disappeared entirely. Losing to Pyrophina the first time seems to have fucked me over so badly that I am completely directionless.

I have beaten Pyrophina a second time and delivered her quest item as requested. I have raised both obelisks. Both are still unresponsive and it's driving me fucking bananas. I've done two separate Moon/Core runs back-to-back to touch them both, again, in the hopes that this might activate them somehow. It has not, and I really have no fucking clue as to what to do. The wiki says I need quest items that I do not have and seem to have no way of obtaining. I haven't gotten any new prompts from Dr. Beans since he yelled at me for the antenna, save for after completing side quests, and the game itself has not given me any direction.

The antenna has also been delivered to the Past, but when I did this I was told that the signal was "incomplete" and given zero fucking clues as to what to do next. (I decided to grind side quests while waiting for Pyrophina to return. Now that she's gone, I have no idea what to do.) Nothing has changed after raising the obelisks: I have not given a second antenna, I have not gotten any updates on the first, I have been given no other items that might be plot-relevant or in some way able to progress the story.

I have been grinding side quests and doing other runs in the hopes that progression is locked behind some stupid invisible time gate, but nothing has happened yet and I'm starting to reach a point where I'm wondering if I've accidentally softlocked myself somehow. I hope not, because that might require a save editor to unfuck (and that thing is Pandora's Box, I do not want to go anywhere near it), but I really need some spoiler-light help. I have played nearly 20-30 hours without any direct plot progression and I'm starting to lose my mind. I really want to keep playing the game, but if I have to do another Act 2 run I will start tearing my hair out. I have done 9 of them back to back and I really really really just want to go anywhere else now. Especially Act 3, which I have not played nearly as much as I'd like to.

If anyone has any clue what's going on, and can elaborate in a manner that does not spoil what I'm aiming to unlock, please let me know. Thanks. :sighduck:

I believe the quest was supposed to be completed in this manner
- Activate the monolith on the Moon
- Activate the monolith in the Core
- Bring either Zaratana or Pyrophina to the activated monolith (Moon for Pyrophina, Core for Zaratana). I'm unsure how you'd obtain their collar if you managed to lose it prior though.

Did you do the third part?

I activated the Core first, then did a bunch of other shit due to losing to Pyrophina the first time (up to and including: fighting the Terminator, unlocking all Act 3 areas, placing the antenna, doing 4 or 5 side quests... roughly in that same order), then beat Pyrophina again and activated the Moon.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to get either Pyrophina nor Zaratana to the obelisks, seeing as they're fucking dead and I killed them. I haven't even heard of any collar outside of the wiki giving brief mention to them having collars. Was I not supposed to kill them? Am I missing something else? :lossmanjack:

The third Act 2 house boss is both kaiju at the same time and you have to beat one of them, you already did that part too? If not, you need to do that fight, I think it can only trigger after you do the two obelisk quests, so if you have an Act 3 one coming now you'll need to finish that first and wait again. If you already did that fight, you'll need to redo it with Steven

Okay, just to clear things up:

This is my current map. I fought and beat the Terminator before I beat Pyrophina. I have yet to get any other house bosses despite beating Pyrophina nearly three (in-game) days ago now. I have no idea which house boss is coming next because I guess I haven't waited long enough to trigger one. I have no way of triggering any Act 2 house bosses with Steven, probably because I haven't triggered that team-up you're talking about, and both obelisks have been activated for several days.
Do I seriously just have to keep doing filler runs and waiting? Did I really fuck up the plot progression that badly by doing it completely out of sequence on accident? :lossmanjack:

Seems like my save is fucked for a while. I have an Act 3 boss coming up in 7 days, the C-100. I have no fucking clue when or if the Act 2 boss I apparently require is going to show up. Yay.

In the meantime: small, part 2.
dwarf_kitten_v_primordial_dwarf_adult.PNG

Apparently, Jericho (on the right) is a Primordial dwarf. Today, I got a normal dwarf (on the left). Even as a kitten, she's still larger than Jericho is as an adult. I have placed them both upon a shelf for optimal size comparison: here's what they look like in comparison to everyone else.

1773855720109.png

Most of these guys are normal* kittens. Some are adults that are so hated by the rest of the household that I have to tardwrangle them. Jericho and Mimolette are the only dwarfs.

Primordial Dwarfism vs just Dwarfism is also very different.

Primordial Dwarfism gives you a -2 to every single stat save for luck, which is given a +12. It doesn't affect any other stats and is arguably more of an actual problem.

Dwarfism without the primordial bit is more even-handed. It just subtracts 2 from Constitution and Strength, while buffing every other stat by 2 and giving you +10 dodge chance.

Why Primordial Dwarfism is given no boost in dodge chance despite being infinitesimal in size, I don't know, but it's a bit frustrating. You're telling me the tiny retard who's smaller than a thumbtack has a better chance of being hit by a dart than his sister who's only eraser-sized? Boo, McMillen. Make it make sense. Give primordial dwarfs a +35% dodge or something and let me go to town. These bastards seem to be very rare, so let me have fun with them!

*as normal as late-game Mewgenics cats get, anyways.

Also, poor Dr. Doom has sired a child whose name is synonymous with that of his arch-nemesis'. His disappointment is apparent.

EDIT: I'm either very lucky with names or the game prefaces all dwarf names with "Lil'/Little". Jericho has Lil', Mimolette has Little. Not sure if that's hardcoded or if I'm just spectacularly lucky.

I lucked out in my fight with Pyrophina. I had a cat that pissed himself when he got hit. Made the fight super easy.

> First Core Run
> Lost my necro in the bunker, swallowed by the miniboss
> New Collarless
> Getting my ass beat a lil bit
> Get to the Coven
> They summon Tormentor
> I try to fuck him up as much as possible
> Swallows and kills my hunter and druid
> Somehow loses 50% of his health (Maybe cause my cleric has a "Thou shall not kill" passive)
> The crow and cleric kill him
> Win with a collarless cat, somehow
> Butcher unlocked

Im not good at this game, Im really terrible in fact. I just get quite lucky at times
I also summoned Pyrophina. Any tips?

If you want to make future Core runs easier:
Bring water. Any water source, old hose, mage/druid skills, catpiss, or even spit is a lifesaver.

The demon that the Coven summons gains skills based on how many candles are still lit when summoned. Simply put them out with water or wind. If you create a water tile on the candle, its more or less permanently extinguished.

87+ Stimulation Room

By the way the devs patched out the alt+f4 furniture duplication bug.

As for losing either of the collars, they are added back the next day or so.
Miwa looking a lot like chantall.

McMillen. Make it make sense.
You fool, now the next patch primordial dwarfs will shit a MASSIVE 6 by 6 square TURD every time you activate a consumable or get hit.

Licking that orb really turned out great, +3 bonus attacks and he got the Homer Simpson beard.

Edit: Big bloodline has been secured.

You need to defeat the third Act 2 house boss first. After that you should receive a quest item that will let you progress.

Seeing your save screen you just sequence broke. AFAIK the Act 2 boss should show up eventually, I've heard of people doing the Act 1 bosses out of order as well.

druid started with wolf form and inherited time walk from a thief mother. gave it the raven's head and feather. AoE soul linking every enemy clumped up together before switching stances and pummeling them back-to-back, is so sweet.

Holy shit the Butcher is so OP
I thought the +3 str and +2 health is itself a big bonus but then I got the spin cleave, which is better than normal cleave. Then this guy got the junji ito event and ended up getting a bunch of mutations which increased strength to 12 and range to 2. Also an item for +1 basic attack and a passive for reload movements/basic attacks. I cleared house on my way to dybbuk using him, killed dybbuk using him as well. Such a good run, I barely ended up using the other cats, used hunter for other aoe attacks and used cleric to maintain team, the tinkerer ended up doing nothing.

Downs Syndrome and Dumb Muscle is a fun synergy for Fighter. Downs Syndrome is a crippling int debuff, but a hefty charisma and con buff. Dumb Muscle gives 100% crit chance when Int is 0 or lower. Going to start my breeding stock of these lumps, just need to find a setup to help with mana regen
