Found the most comically broken combo ever. Protect the weak [cleric] + Lord of the flies [butcher?] + Fish necklace + the butcher skill that turns every meat pickup into a rotfly + enough items with +cha on the cat with the necklace to give them mana for that skill.

So, flies have 1 or 5hp, which means protect the weak gives them 50% evasion. Lord of the flies makes rotflies friendly. Fish necklace adds rot on attack but it has a secret or bugged interaction : casting the meat-into-rotfly skill will put one rot on every unit on the board including your already existing rotflies.

This allows you to clog the board with flies so insanely fast it's ridiculous. I fought the bunker boss with this and his aoe push attack actually lagged the game from the sheer volume of exploding flies, and they were all back 2 turns later.

e: look at this bullshit

Im so close bros, it's a lil rizzless but i can make it a healer to solve its ugly issues. I put him alone with another kitten that was born in the figther room (for some reason even at -20 they breed there still) and she has 7 in charisma so they should be the adam and eve of my future all 7 uberköts

Taking tinkerer feels like taking the autistic brother to a walk, i made him full suicide build with the armor skill and the rollerskates, he slammed himself to satan multiple times and survived. I think im getting the hand of it but i still rather play mage.

You just need to give Tink the ugly ones and keep the positive mutated ones.

If you want to solidify the chance of passing on desired mutations, you sometimes have to accept a incest generation or two.

Mr. Big's grand/son might have a defect but you can always overwrite it via Death Shroud, Death Mask & Uranium Rod combo.

Have to redownload cuz mods broke it. Installed mewtator a few patches ago for QoL and was having a blast. Now, a few small patches later, won't even startup even with no mobs enabled *sigh* always the case with mods.

i kept hearing people talk about it but didn't get it, but Tinkerer's Repair skill is very very good, prolly one of the best skills to make sure you have your cats inherit throughout the lines eventually. it removes the worn debuff from items equipped to that cat or another, so if you spend the first fight's first few turns using it each run, you can use any items you want at no risk of losing them simply from run completions. it also functions as giving a use which would benefit guns/weapons etc, and nearly fully serves it purpose by the time you replace it with another skill. almost invaluable for classes like monk which use very specific rare items or tinkerer itself which is heavily centered around items, or guaranteeing monocles etc for hunters.

you could also pair it with something like inheriting Tinkerer's armor specialist passive which doubles all equipment passive effects for very fucking solid starts.
Trust in me, notIsaac needs to be leveled up by a ton in order to guarantee one rare furniture.
i'd like to make sure this part is clarified because i didn't know for way too long that the furniture shop upgrades past max/oo function as permanent increases to the shop having rare items in each item slot. i thought it was like pet mart's system.

that and being on a glass tile and taking damage causes bleed, and can be used like having the hunter's glass tile placement ability on an enemy then hitting them with something else to cause it. it also serves to really fuck some mutations, like the glass mouth, where you spawn glass under you when taking hits, which leads to multiple hits without knockback always causing bleed. i always assumed it just functioned as walk-damage tiles but it has interesting applications, especially with how powerful bleed is as an effect

Just learned something ridiculous about the Act 2 house bosses
When you finish the third fight, you get a collar of the one you helped as a quest item. The collars are two different items, and each one has its own achievement. After doing one, replaying the fight with Steven and helping the other does NOT get you the other collar, or its associated achievement. This means that if you care about 100% Steam achievements, it's not possible to get both achievements on a single save file (unless you make a backup before doing the fight the first time)

It's the one of the few things that require a second playthrough yeah. Apparently 100% intended by Tyler. (Something about wanting to keep track of stats of who helped whom.)

Extra first turn mutation + goofball + high speed really makes a difference. Having 3 turns per cat before any enemy can even do anything straight up allows you to kill bosses on first round and other nonsense. Should probably switch to Hard soon

I had to take a break, partially because I've been playing that shit way too much but also because that god damn C-1000 killed my B team that I thought had enough heart to bring it on home. I will return... I have a necromancer just waiting for a crown of petulance and a cleric with thou shall not kill who is going to make that fucker rue the day.

My favorite technician was on that team... that's not really saying much but still, it's rare when one of those autistic retards manages to achieve anything.

Edmund, an avid Fishtank watcher, sent a care package to the Bingo Bongo Twins on the currently-airing Fishtank season 5, and they just got it today. It had a bunch of cool Isaac merch, and showrunner Jet Neptune then thanked Edmund for all his support and told the audience to go buy Mewgenics on Steam

Is almost like Tinkerer is fun when he can access his main gimmick resource or something

Executed like a cartel boss, also the fly set is funny and actually good unlike the normal tinkerer set.

Any guide on obtaining Jester's exclusive passives?

I really want that Super luck
Have you tried killing the bosses? collarless cats unlock more abilities if they kill the area bosses, maybe is the same with him.
