I will be ashamed to admit that I used to follow this community pretty closely years and years ago.

For full disclosure, I was pretty fat. I had a number of friends but they weren't the type that would help me find a girlfriend or ask their girlfriends to hook me up with their friends. There was another autistic layer added on here where I had a hard time talking to women and a result didn't bother talking to any. Rather than fix my situation, I just sat and stewed. Eventually sometime along the line, I decided that I wasn't meant to have sex and decided to focus my free time on video games and message forums.

Eventually I stumbled across PUA boards but the thing with PUA communities is that 99% of those guys don't do shit. So most of them read constantly about "game" but still spent our Friday and Saturday nights doing it. All of a sudden I kept seeing articles come from MGTOW or sites like it. A supreme gentleman like myself found comfort that the game was rigged because all women want to do is press rape charges and take my money. Not once did it improve my life or make me happier, it was just a bunch of bitter nerds who gave up on life, usually in their late teens or twenties, the prime of their lives.

One day, I decided "no more", I ditched reading those insufferable sites, went to the gym, ate right, and lost all of my weight in about a couple of years. I now have a long term girlfriend and a few girlfriends before her.

The point is that I understand why MGTOW or Return of Kings exist: it's a bunch of guys who know they are woefully inadequate but refuse to do anything about it. It's a bunch of bitter losers who rationalize why they threw away the best years of their life on a mentality that refuses to challenge them.

MGTOW is a group of the manosphere which instead of engaging in political activism instead opt to simply avoid women altogether.

Their two founders were stardusk (who is still quite active and somehow wants mgtow to become an area of serious academic study) and barbarossa (who seems to have moved on moreso)
They have a website mgtow.com which is extremely autistic and has a fairly small community rather distinct from the actual youtubers but likely overlapping in the audience of sandman
They have a much larger community on youtube with the main youtubers being sandman who is known for making short rage inducing videos (not really him raging but he appeals to the dumber mgtows) and Turd Flinging Monkey who has far more autistic pseudo intellectual videos which are less mgtow specific and closer to the alt right in general

I don't get these people at all. If you are truly a "Man going your own way" why would you sit on the internet and sperg about it all the time? Wouldn't you literally just take a gun and supplies and decide to build a log cabin and live in the woods if you were so fed up with the current governmental and social construct? For people who don't care about Women anymore they sure do go on about Women alot.
