From what I can tell mgtow started as an offshoot of the early MRA community after some members of the community were increasingly, to the disagreement of the larger community, involving themselves in discussion regarding the possibility that characteristics inherent in the human animal were responsible for what the MRA defines as a social ill, which the MRA to this day blames on feminism, leftism, "western" women, social Marxism, THE JEWS, ect, ect.
The acronym itself seems to be widely used by a wide variety of groups, from the love shys to angsty teens to salemen like Sandman who has become an assembly line of monotone 'bitch about women' content for the former's consumption. I mean people seriously donate to this guy to hear him talk about how women are mean for 10 minutes.
The original offshoot still exists as a minority of youtube content creators who focus on understanding human behavior and how it's effect on politics and society manifests. Some use the acronym but most don't regard it at all. I'm subscribed to some of them and a lot of their stuff is pretty interesting...
In this niche, personal details like one's sex life are hardly ever brought up but it's like a 1:3 ratio of abstaining and 'not abstaining but not hunting either'. The only full agreement between them (and in this case, myself) is that there is an inverse correlation between a relationship with a woman (most notably marriage) and a man's capacity for general self-fulfillment, especially given the current social and legal landscape.

He's stated repeatedly that women are inferior, women are eternal children, women are stupid, etc. etc. etc. You could claim he's just "realistic" about women, but then again, you could claim some Klanner who thinks blacks are dumb and inferior is just being "realistic" about them. The point was brought up to TFM before, actually, and he made a whole video about it--apparently, the same arguments racists use against black folks are legitimate when applied to women because "black men major in STEM more than women do!" It's not really very convincing.

I think that Turd Flinging Monkey is better at pretending to be smart than other MGTOW but he really is at the core just like the rest of them. There are some youtubers that MGTOW talk about a lot and try to claim are MGTOW such as Sargon of Akkad who don't hate women but those youtubers aren't MGTOW and do not claim to be(I actually thought that Sargon of Akkad was a MGTOW at first)

I visited that video on youtube and all one has to do is scroll down to the comments to see the true colors. A youtuber creates videos to reach a certain demographic and if that demographic is praising him and voicing their outright woman-bashing beliefs in their 'safe space'.... and the youtuber is doing next to nothing to reprimand them or not telling them to chill the fuck out, then I cannot fully see this ''TFM'' as 100% not guilty of misogynist tendencies. And I HATE using the word misogynist because it reminds me of the word 'Illuminati'. But unlike the illuminati, misogyny does exist and should be outed and squashed at first whiff. I could also say the same for misandrists or virtually anyone who hates/mistrusts/feels superior to anyone solely based on gender, nationality, religion, sex, color, orientation or race.
Besides, they are showcasing my 'kind' (womankind) in a completely negative and horrendously objectifying way. Most of which is not true and even the true points are stretched to the limit like taffy and are taken as gospel truth. Anytime someone objects to their vitriol and extremist hate, they have hot-and-ready rebuff words like 'shamer' and 'cunt', 'whore', and 'blue piller' and 'mangina'. I can tell why TFM doesn't tell his beloved followers to cool it because then he will be called a 'faker', white-knight or worst of all (gasp) Purple Piller... no... ANYTHING but the sitting-on-fence lukewarm PURPLE-PILLER. He will be called out and lose views. So I can understand.
These men expect females not to say anything and just 'roll' with it because we aren't invited to the 'boys wank club'. That's fine, but how many men do you see crying and aping out on the predominately female sites when females have the 'gall' to even voice their preference for more 'feminine' men or are more focused on their careers. And they are enraged when females tell them off on their own female-based sites.
Like since they are men, the females should just shut up and listen to their 'all knowing universal' '''logic''. Many of these men are so convinced that they are granted 'logic' by default thanks to their Y chromosome and all they do is say the word 'logic' over and over, but fail to even demonstrate such 'logic'. To disagree with their literal one-word self proclamation of 'logic' is 'proof' of your complete ''illogical'' nature... ESPECIALLY if you are female. And when these males 'do' try to present 'proof', they delve so deep into pseudo-science territory, it's laughable. The worst of this lot are the extreme right-wing religious ones.
If the females fail to 'shut up', the males just get more and more angry until their ranting posts are literally all in caps. You can see the veins popping from their heads on the other side. The ones who get the most irate send images or gifs from 'rape' sites, 'just' to show the 'cunts who's 'really' in charge'. When that doesn't work, you get to see the real treat of a virtual online meltdown from the male. It's really quite something. Then they eventually stop replying all together. No doubt 'cooled' down by his manosphere buddies to stop 'wasting time on no-matter cunts'. Or they just simply spontaneously com-busted from anger.
These vitriol men feel so cornered, they have to say women who don't cow-tow to everything they say are 'brainwashed' and 'going against nature'. There are literally men out there who are telling us by 'nature', we have no personality, no sense of self, and we are going against our 'natural use'. Their tin-foil hats have gotten so large, that they assume ALL females are feminists, are out to 'delete the y-chromosome' and destroy each and every single man in their path. They want women to 'understand' them, but when there are those that do, they are 'traps', 'faking' or `ahem` ''NAWALTS'... but no... no NAMALT's at all to be found. The perfect little cherubs they are.
I don't care how benevolent some of these MGTOW men feel in their 'cause'. When the majority is full of the ('shaming' trigger warning) sociopaths that cannot function in the outside world, we got a problem. When you have a group taking pride in the de-humanization of an entire gender, delegating them to just 'holes' because they cannot get on board with a changing world, there's an issue.
With dehumanization of a people comes less empathy and thus who's not to say men being more and more senselessly violent to women is not 'going their own way'? Yes, many MGTOWS stay away from women, but we are still 50%+ of the world. How long must he live among these non-feeling, non-personality-having, mirroring, hollow-headed 'holes' before he goes off the deep end? Many of these men beam with pride and squeal with glee and they share a 'touching' moment with their manosphere buddies about them not 'helping' a pregnant, fat 'cunt' with three kids on the side of the road. Thus, their buddies give him a thumbs up, revering him as some hero... LOTS of thumbs up, might I add. Like in the hundreds. That's far too many.
Yet, if these men were in the same situation and no one helped them, they are simply 'victims of a repressive feminist society' that expects men to 'man up' and 'deal with it'. It's also downright insulting to them if they require a woman's help and they remind me of those characters in movies that would rather fall to their deaths than except the 'helping' hand of their 'lessers'.
I've read it far too many times before. I sometimes go to these sites, ghost as a male and it's amazing the vile, abhorrent and vicious things these men say. Sometimes I rant on purpose like a text-book psycho and they lend their virtual shoulders for me to lean on. Saying they 'understand'. These 'people' are walking around us and it's a good thing they wish to remove themselves from society... except they are not. They still wish to 'spread the gospel'.
And a good portion of them STILL want to have sex with us or wank off to us or use sex dolls/toys made in our image? You gotta be KIDDING me.
These men waving the MGTOW banner are blaming women for the fall of society, children, the family and schools. All because we strive for equal HUMAN rights. Yes, men and women are biologically different, but not SO much that we are two completely different species (thought at times it may feel that way) Individuals are moreso different than the genders are different. Why it is such an 'inconvenience to' treat others with simple respect, understanding and basic humanity is beyond me.
Women have become the new 'Jews'. When you get down to it, it's not about the divorce rate or the women 'rejecting' men or women not wanting doors opened for them or choosing career over marriage... it's about control.
One doesn't have to outright 'say' they hate women. Their actions and content of their characters and the people they support and surround themselves with says a lot.
Sure, very few MGTOWs may not 'hate' women, but I find it funny how the ones who especially hate/mistrust them still lust after women. I cannot imagine hating and mistrusting something or someone so much yet wanting to have deep relations with it. Like that is some Ted Bundy level shit. That has got to take a toll on the brain.
Besides, these men in public are easy to spot. They tend to either look at women like they are food or they treat women like crap (they must 'earn' their simple 'respect'. i.e NEVER) or do the wonderful art of' 'negging' upon first meeting. And frankly, when I run into a guy like that, I turn my back on him. I'm sure he'll appreciate it. He's not worth my time and I'm not worth his. Call me a cunt all you want, but as much as MGTOWers say we women 'mirror' personalities, this is the one time in these special situations I can say they are indeed correct. If you don't like whats being directed back at you, then fix it. If you get your own personality back at you and you don't like it, then who is to blame? You should like your own personality, not want to kick it in the teeth.
But alas, you already said you support this TRL fellow and the movement. You are already set in your beliefs and nothing I nor any one here will reverse them. I know why MGTOW-ites are dropping seeds of snark and discouragement and their own little 'culture' in sites like these that do not agree with them. Slowly at first, but then you get the more loud and vocal ones pounding at the door, outraged that we dare to oppose their 'movement'. Whether they want to 'make up' for the countless feminist stamps all over the internet or they just despise opposition. But most MGTOWS are going underground. Which I think is good for all of us, but recruitment is vital it seems.
Most of the world doesn't like extremist groups, no matter how peaceful and normal they try to seem. In the groups eyes, they are normal, but in the world's eyes, they are just plain nuts. They are outraged that all of the world doesn't know about them yet and say people are 'lying' when they don't even know what MGTOW is. They swell with pride when they are shown on CNN and the news, but fume in rage when they are laughed at on air. They blame 'feminazi moderators' on sites like Rational Wiki, Encylopedia Dramatica and other such sites for pretty much laying out the movement's true core values... even in a humorous way. They voice their special 'movement' speak, slang and culture then hate when people scratch their heads not getting the drivel. They say they are getting 'advertisement', but they are simply spectacles. Like that guy on the street corner who spray painted himself and his clothes chrome silver and plays a silver guitar while riding a silver painted unicycle.
I think the funniest and most insulting thing of all is they feel society will just 'collapse' completely without them. They shiver with delight and anticipation when 'the day' comes when their 'efforts' have paid off and cities are in flames. Wallstreet and banks and economy shall crumble as they 'hoard' the 'world resources' in their home safes and mattresses.
They can't wait until people are screaming in circles and bombs are dropping and people are 'begging' the MGTOWS... their 'saviors' for 'help'. Some say they will take great pride in watching the gang rapes and murders of women because they 'brought it all on themselves'. The country will fall and be taken over WITHOUT them... the shining male beacons. Now That is some major over self importance if I ever did see it.
Every movement wants to feel important, known and understood and no one likes to be called crazy, but it is what it is.
There are old men who may 'fit' the MGTOW lifestyle, but lack the dehumanizing, the blatant disresepct, hatred, blaming and the whining. Even these old grizzled dudes who never married and do their own thing think MGTOWs are lame.
Yes, the MGTOW does indeed 'weed out the weak', but the ones that remain are the 'true chosen'. Of the cult that is. Congratulations. You have reached Nirvana. But when your world revolves around the avoidance of half the populations....all you talk of, obsess over, lust after and think of are the ones you hate most, then you have not found true peace at all. In fact, I'd like to call it hell.
