You are not the whole world. The vast majority of marriages I've seen (including those in my own family) have been solid, long-term, and based on mutual love and respect; the exceptions were a sociopath who used her husband for a green card and an alkie husband who used his wife like a wallet (that ended in divorce).
Humans are very complex and trying to claim that all human relationships can be reduced to "women gold-diggers, men noble victims" is just as unuseful and inaccurate as the radical feminist take on relationships.

If MGTOW in general were about cultivating virtue and promoting self-reliance outside of the validation of a relationship, then I would have a lot more respect for the movement as a whole. There is definitely a need in our sex-obsessed culture for something that MGTOW claims to promote.

The problem is that MGTOW - much like radical feminism is with men - is obsessed with women. Video after video is about women. How women need their rights taken away, or how they are subhuman, or how they're all gold diggers, etc. They just reiterate the same talking points to affirm whatever their audience is feeling without helping them, you know, actually go their own way. To his credit, TFM does a little bit of this, but he's not above clickbait screencaps either. My guess is that MGTOW channels use clickbaity screencaps to attract the oh-so over women demographic that has just switched to porn as their primary means of release. It's a case of misery loves company.

I cannot agree more with your post, if MGTOW was actually a kind off individualistic self-improvement movement like Modern Stoicism is I would have more respect for them, but honestly, most of them are delusional incels.
There's a huge problem accross all support groups that claim that they need to become more independent, that the need to be left alone and that they're superior to others, instead of following the self-improvement path they follow the self-pity and resentment path, MGTOW is for incels what lesbian separatism is for femcels.

It's a huge thing for some guys to place their entire self worth on being in a relationship and, not only that, but to have control and independence over someone 'worthy.' To be a Ken to some Barbie, instead of a manlet who's never even had the chance to consider breaking up with a woman.
And it could have been a good movement for change! Less Eliot Rogerses. More YMCA-vibes. Get yourself clean. Have a good meal. Learn mental hygiene.
Instead I have no idea what differentiates an MGTOW man from an incel, offline. I guess they'd hope to be more disrespectful but at the mere chance of breaking MGTOW for a 'shot' they'd become the same.

I have become internet acquainted with two friars, and let me tell you that neither of them post this kind of stuff. One of them said that ‘celibacy makes me live my ministry and call to community life better’. They have ‘gone their own way’, not because they hate women but because they love God.

MGTOWs claim to be volcel, but they really aren’t.

From the outside looking in , mgtow seems like a possible on ramp for the infamous lgbtq (alphabet people) agenda.
The irony here is that mgtow spergs are often the very same people who are in favor of traditional families / values while remaining ignorant to the fact they are ultimately victims of their own exceptionalism

Vasectomies. They exist, and most insurance covers them.

They want women to pay a price for having sex. Promiscuity is bad for women, it makes them sluts or whores or whatever and that's evil.

But it's all cool for men, who can be sleazy PUAs or go manipulate some girl who just turned 18 yesterday, that's owning her. That's all fine and dandy, it's the cool thing to do.
